I'm a little sad. I'll be taking down the tree tomorrow, so this is the last time for a while that I can see how beautiful it looks all lit up at night while catching up with your posts. I should think of it this way: seeing it again will be something to look forward to as 2014 draws on. Every year I wonder if it will look as nice as it did the year before, and somehow, every year, it looks even nicer. That sounds like bragging, but I don't mean it that way … I think pure Christmas grace makes that happen.

Good night, everyone.

Good night, lovely tree, until next Christmastime.

Goodnight, MerryCarey!!!! Praying for strength for you tomorrow.

Last year's final Jan. 4th post was number #717.

That would be unreal. I know I can't post everyday like I am some days...lol

Thank you! I hope the -20 is with the wind chill taken into account! Stay warm!!!

Nope. That is the actual air temp forecasted for monday and tuesday night. Windchill's will be in the -40 to -50 degree range.

That is not good - my prayers are on the way!

I forgot to mention that we found a nutcracker lamp for 60% off at Christmas Tree Shops. We bought it for LC's room, he loves it!!!! It looks very cute in his room with all of his other nutcrackers.

That's awesome! I am glad he does! :)

Goodnight, Christmas family - may all of you be safe and warm and have MERRY dreams!

I found some stuff at walmart earlier. They were 75% off. So i picked up some gift boxes, some stocking stuffers for next year, and a bunch of candy!!! LOL!!!

I also found a small tree at walgreen's that's base is a Santa Boot.

Goodnight!!!!

I would love that tree. I've been looking :( no luck. I have a porcelain boot though...

Good evening,

Another busy day here at MMC I see, that is so awesome.

We made it through the night without running out of oil, I couldn't sleep well last night worrying about that. It dropped to -17*f last night, I could feel the cold air radiating through the walls. Our oil delivery came today so one less thing to worry about.
We went to the mall and I checked out the remaining Christmas stuff, Target had everything at 90% off, but almost all of it was broken and the good stuff was gone. I was lucky enough to find a set of Christmas Vacation pint glasses for $1.99, I couldn't turn that down. Hobby Lobby was 80% off, Hallmark was 40% off. I was good and didn't buy anything, there were a few things but nothing I had to have.

Looking forward to the Bengals game tomorrow.

Have a great night.

I have to have that 'gotta have it' feeling otherwise I'll be swamped. I've decided on small trees for nooks and crannies and blue lights.

Awesome!! You're quite the mathematician. I can't even add small numbers when anyone is looking at me.
