Can you believe it? A full QUARTER of the way back to Christmas!

Days to Christmas Day: 274


Well, sir. Back to chilly and wet weather yesterday.
A cold high is again predicted for today, absent the wet.
(At least the latter part of the week and perhaps the weekend is supposed to be nice.)
We stand just over 30 degrees here in the capital city at this hour.


OK.
Don't forget to visit the 'Pines this evening.
Obviously, Carl's theme will have to do with being at the 1/4 mark to Christmas Day.
Everything a quarter off? Four fired twinkies for the price of 3? Who knows.
But you'll never know if you don't show.

The meeting at the county commissioner's office was not what I thought it would be. I finally got my whole council to come with me, and it was just a boring discussion about 911 dispatching software. I'm gonna run out of Calgon soon.

home from work, roads were awful. It is not snowing, but it was blowing and drifting a lot. Glad to be home again.
Cut my finger again...actually skinned it, very sore but not real bad. Hand sanitizer tomorrow at work should be real fun!

Up early again, well I am up early even when I don't have to be.
So I am going to curl up with a book then go to bed,

Long, rough night at work. Inventory is done for the month, I am glad I was able to get out on time, it didn't look good most of the night.

The snowstorm that was predicted looks to be a complete miss now, the latest forecast I saw is saying 0.10 inches, I don't even think that qualifies as a dusting.

I may not be able to make it in here on milestone day tomorrow with work, dinner and the hockey game. I am not planning to get home until close to 11pm. I look forward to my daily dose of MMC. I will try to pop in to say hi at some point.

I am beyond exhausted after my night.

I just got back from the school run and I'm now home with my youngest. I am going to catch up with some course work today. I also need to do some laundry and order groceries which means I need to do some meal planning. Hopefully I will get to pop in again later.

Well there was no Spring snowstorm for us. There was barely a dusting over night. But it is really cold and windy out there. I hope the winds die down, it's making it feel so much worse.
I don't have a lot going on today, I'll just be working on the usual chores. My youngest has a job interview at the outlets later this afternoon. I'm going to take a ride with her and browse around inside the Christmas Tree Shop during her interview.

Good Morning! Day 4 on here! I am actually reading and posting, 4 days in a row! Hopefully I can continue this streak. I miss this place when I cannot make it here.

I am sitting here with my morning coffee in my Christmas mug and my granddaughter asked for hot chocolate in a Christmas mug so we can have our morning hot drink together! I am not sure what is planned for today so I hope we can find something interesting and fun to do!

It was good to see HomemakinGirl on the game boards today. Sugar's been there this week to. If y'all yet bored they're always fun.

PS...the "would you for a million" game hasn't seen any action in a while.

When I have the time and I'm tempted, I don't usually venture there for fear of repeating something that was already posted. I'm not able to follow the games every day, so I can't keep track of what was already said (yeah, I COULD read through all the posts that have come before, but that's a lot of reading!).
