Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
As you know I wasn't on much. You know, family stuff and running around like a gingerbread man without his head haha. But everything has died down and I'm back! Wanted to share a few pictures with you from Christmas!
First 2 is Christmas morning. Note the middle of the tree, the lights went out! 2 days before Christmas! haha.

Happy New Year, everyone. As I said in the 2013 Countdown thread... all the best to you and yours in 2014. I am excited to start a new thread and new year with you all!
Y'all hush! You're making me feel old! Every weekday morning when that alarm goes off, I think very highly of sleep!
Lets do it!!!What I really want to do is keep the tree in the back yard that is in memory of my brother, lit up. Right now we have the trunk wrapped with white lights & the branches with color. I love it. If I have to let Buster out in the middle of the night, the back yard is lit up. I just love it! If there were "winter lights" I could decorate that tree up until March - when they days are finally getting longer & daylight savings begins! I'm betting our back yard neighbors would like it too!
Good night, and for one last time Happy New Year.
So far AccuWeather is saying 8 to 12 inches for around here. I may be working from home tomorrow and/or Friday. The snow is supposed to start sometime tonight and continue on and off through Friday morning.

You know I'm just joking! When I do get the gift of sleeping in, it is such a blessing. I'm very serious about my sleep!!!

LOL!!! Well I'm still not as evidenced by the fact that I'm still up tonight after only getting a couple of hours of off and on sleep this morning.
Happy New Year, everyone!
I.m glad to be here will all of you! cheesy
I am not usually a fan of New Years Day but I must say this is one has been a nice one!
Snow-in-Texas first went to my job. We are closed today but we went in to feed the animals. From there we went to the lake to ride our bikes and feed the ducks. The weather has been very mild today but will get chilly tomorrow. Our tradition on New Years Day is to take down our outdoor Christmas lights and my son helps. We always go out to lunch together afterward. To our surprise, as we pulled up in the driveway, my son was taking down the last strand of lights off the house! He didn't even wait on us, he did it by himself. I was thrilled because it slightly depresses me to do it so he saved me from that! We unloaded the bikes, cleaned up and went out to lunch. Then headed over to Starbucks for coffee. We are just relaxing now.
The indoor decorations will stay up awhile longer. I will take it down when I am ready. Maybe just keep them up until Christmas in July! Does that sound like a plan? What do you think? cheesy
Went to the grocery store this morning an they already have an aisle for Valentines Day.
That's what DH just said to me. I've been basically up for longer than 24 hours and have only had 1 1/2 hours of sleep. Maybe you and I are crazy!!!
