Christmas Countdown - 2014

A gray, rainy Tuesday here. I digitized two more Christmas LPs yesterday evening, but I still have to split the files into the individual songs and fill in the MP3 tags. It's going to be fun to hear these records again that I haven't listened to in years! More material for this year's Santa Tracking hours!

Good morning.

I'm still checking my pulse this morning after my mishap driving on in to work. The traffic was heavy, a misty rain was falling and the traffic was doing about 60 in a 65 and when all of a sudden the cars in front of me slammed on their brakes. I hit mine, and slid, I was heading into the back of another car, I took my foot off the brakes, swerved, missed the rear of the car in front of me by about a foot. I then turned the wheel again, but nothing since I was then off road in the mud and I hit the guard rail.

I bounced off and stopped. The truck lights are hanging down off the truck, fender and front left side of the truck is damaged. But, I didn't hit the kid in front of me... he did pull over to make sure I was ok, (nice of him). I told him I was ok, and that it was not his fault and I thanked him for pulling over to check on me....

I just glad I didn't run into the back of someone else and that no one got hurt. the truck can be fixed, no big deal~

I am glad you are okay, that is a scary situation.

Homemakingirl, Does Molly still use a humidifier? There were a couple of nights I didn't turn ours on for Chico and he was pacing around looking at me. I think he was trying to tell me he wanted it on because as soon as I do he lays down near it and goes to sleep. Ha ha!

I've added 5 new cd's to my collection so far.

Doesn't it feel good?

That sounds like a fun project, too!

It's not exactly fun to do, but it's great to get music off the shelf and into iTunes where it's at my fingertips.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a cooler day here with temps in the 30's. We are also going to get some rain turning to snow overnight. Nothing exciting going on here today. Just the same old boring stuff. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

It has been raining here non stop today. I wish we would get some snow again but its too warm. We will be back in to the 30's by the end of the week so maybe we'll get some then.

It is currently 24 degrees & a winter wonderland! We got way more snow than predicted, and there's no end in sight. So pretty! It's great that I have the day off!

Good (wet!) Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Gosh, it's really raining! I work in an office trailer outside the main office, but I'm constantly walking between the two. Even an umbrella doesn't always help while carrying files. Yuck!

I have to go to a meeting requested by the county commission this evening. Such a pain in the rumpus. Those guys pay themselves every time they meet (I disagree with any salary for part-time elected officials), but it's just time away from my family, for me. I guess I shouldn't have run for office, if I didn't want to attend meetings, eh? :lol:

I hope he feels better! There's nothing worse to me than a fever, but I'm a wimp. If I get to 98.7°, I've called in sick at work, and I'm in the bed with several quilts.

I know a lot of people feel miserable when they have a fever, so you're not alone! He seems to be doing right now, thanks!
