Christmas Countdown - 2014

Homemakingirl, Does Molly still use a humidifier? There were a couple of nights I didn't turn ours on for Chico and he was pacing around looking at me. I think he was trying to tell me he wanted it on because as soon as I do he lays down near it and goes to sleep. Ha ha!

I picked the humidifier up for Maggie because she was coughing, I'm still using it. I accidentally dropped the first one and broke it. I was so mad, I had to go buy another. It's worth it though, I run it every night and I really do think it helps her. She's still coughing off and on. The doctor wants her to have another chest xray, I'm taking her Thursday. I'm telling you I should have a part time job just to pay for the vet bills!

Good afternoon,

It is kind of a sad day, I have taken down 3 of our trees most of the lights inside, disconnected all the outdoor stuff. I am stopping for the day, the room with the 7.5 foot tree is still decorated and will be until Sunday. Just about everything else is done. It looks so dreary now.
I got to rustle up some grub for lunch, I am starving. I have been busy besides undecorating I have done laundry, dishes, vacuuming up all the fake pine needles. cheesy

I will be in throughout the day.

The count is on to our annual pilgrimage to Texas to go to the Great Wolf Lodge. Just a little over a month them it's mini-vacation time!

I can make it. I think I can, I think I can....

What a beautiful day we are having! The sun is out, the sky blue, feels like spring.
I am sitting in tha van having lunch and had to open the windows because it was so warm in here.
Have to enjoy as snow is on the way again.
It is January after all!

Good morning.

I'm still checking my pulse this morning after my mishap driving on in to work. The traffic was heavy, a misty rain was falling and the traffic was doing about 60 in a 65 and when all of a sudden the cars in front of me slammed on their brakes. I hit mine, and slid, I was heading into the back of another car, I took my foot off the brakes, swerved, missed the rear of the car in front of me by about a foot. I then turned the wheel again, but nothing since I was then off road in the mud and I hit the guard rail.

I bounced off and stopped. The truck lights are hanging down off the truck, fender and front left side of the truck is damaged. But, I didn't hit the kid in front of me... he did pull over to make sure I was ok, (nice of him). I told him I was ok, and that it was not his fault and I thanked him for pulling over to check on me....

I just glad I didn't run into the back of someone else and that no one got hurt. the truck can be fixed, no big deal~

That was certainly a close call. Quick reaction on your part. Those roads sound brutal. I don't how you all manage to go about daily life with those road conditions.

That was certainly a close call. Quick reaction on your part. Those roads sound brutal. I don't how you all manage to go about daily life with those road conditions.

I just don't know...there's just too many people, too many cars and too many drivers who think they're the stars of "Fast and Furious" and "Mad Max"~

I'm telling you, if your in the hammer lane doing 80 mph in a 60 mph, you better move over, or else someone is going to run you off the road....

I am not sure what the big deal was with cleaning out a tall cabinet in my bathroom. I looked at it thinking I would be there all day sorting, cleaning out and organizing it. Got started on it and was finished in less than 20 minutes! It wasn't as bad as it looked. :yahoo:

Time to find something else to organize!

Oh yeah! I still have my indoor Christmas decorations up! The mood has not hit yet to bring anything down and I am not going to hurry on it either. =)

I hate my bathroom closet, my wife has something like 431 make up bags in it, and I have 3 things in there. Every time I look for something I need it gets pushed farther and farther back. She always says she just cleaned it and she needs all those things. cheesy

Two buckets of ornaments have come off the tree for their yearly nap. The rest will go to bed this weekend. All other decorations will follow suit at that time.
