Oh no. Carl saw this on his recent trip home for the holidays and thinks we need them around the pool here at the pines-



So the fund raiser is raise money to make improvements to the Pines before Summer arrives.

Hi everyone!

Virginia, It got to 44C yesterday and today is going to be a whopping 46C. Adelaide’s record temperature is 46.1C dating all the way back to 1939. So could be in for a new record. Finally got maintenance to fix the air-conditioning at the office but now we’re being told there may be power outages, just my luck.

Only one more day till the weekend. Yay!

Sorry I wasn’t on here yesterday and haven’t been able to go through all the posts. Been very busy!

I hope you’re all keeping well. Take care all!

The car is all finished. They did an inspection, an oil change and rotated the tires. Thankfully they were quick, we didn't have to wait long.

Still working on the house. The concrete for the foundation has cured, and the patio room foundation will be poured on Friday. The kitchen will be 30' by 32', so I should be able to move around a lot better than I do now, LOL! I am so jealous of everyone's snow, but that's what I say every year. I just wish we would get one good snow storm every year so I could make snowcream and play in the snow. I will be checking in when I can. TTFN

You can come play in our snow! The weathermen predicted 2 inches, and we got 9 inches, lol. Brilliant! laying:
Glad the kitchen remodel is coming along well! It's going to be amazing!!

Good afternoon/evening everyone...Hows everyone getting on today..Its wednesday already,The weekend is getting closer

Good evening, frosty!

This got me wondering about what sort of tyres you all have for the bad weather. In movies they put on snow chains.

We had to put chains on our tires when we'd visit the mountains in Las Vegas. That is where Adrian proposed! He knew how much I missed home, and snow, so he took me to Mt. Charleston and popped the question there =) Here, we just put on some good snow tires that have a great grip to them.

Thanks sugar. It's a lovely bright red on the whiteness of my inner arm. It's clean and hurts when I touch things but I'll put more aloe on through the day.

Hope it's starting to heal, and not as painful as it was.

Aww, Palmer is just so sweet!!

Har & I are doing pretty good. Adrian is miserable He is really sick, kind of came on from out of nowhere.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to the meeting at the county commissioner's hall last night, and it was not too bad. I thought it would be a fight over who controls the fire department, since that's been the hot topic lately. Instead, we discussed ways to attract more industry to the area, in an effort to get more young folks interested in staying in our county. Not too bad!

Elizabeth found out that she and her best friend were among the 12 dancers selected for participation in the Spring production of The Music Man! There were dozens of dancers trying out, and we were trying to make sure she didn't get her hopes too high. It turns out, we should have had more faith in her abilities. She is so happy, and I'm so proud!
