Well after years of talking and planning, we have decided this summer we will be making the trip to Florida to go to Disney. Anyone been? Any tips to pass on to a first timer?

We went there on our honeymoon almost 12 years ago. We love it there, and hope to go back there soon. Read up on sites like Disneyworld.com, AAA, Frommer's, and so on. Look into purchasing plans that include meals, it may save you a little money since if you purchase a hamburger in the park, I think we paid $6 for one 12 years ago.

Xmastidings- Did you get some zebra print duck tape to hold the headlights on? I think think that make the truck look great!!! LOL!!!

I would have used the bacon duct tape. cheesy

Good afternoon!

Hope everyone is doing well today, and staying warm! Or cool for some of our friends like JBJ & Virginia.

I just went to Walmart to pick up some cold medicines, vitamins, and preventative things like Airborne & EmergenC. I also got the chicken noodle soup, crackers, and sprite. Think we are set!

Thanks for the get well wishes & prayers, Adrian says thanks as well!

I also felt it necessary to check the Christmas clearance, and am I ever glad I did!

Here is what I picked up:

5 Christmas shirts, tinsel, a Santa ornament, chocolate nut mix, and candy canes, all for $12.00!
That lifted my spirits!

I'm going to lay down for a bit, but sending lots of love to you all~

I am enjoying the day with my family. Stopped at a thrift store and bought a beautiful new winter coast for only $16. Looked up the maker and it is a $180 coat! A gift from the Lord for sure.
I love it, it is a wine red color and looks great, feels wonderful to wear!

started work on a cake for a friend. It is march before needed but this one is going to have a lot of flowers on it and since sugar flowers will last years once dry I thought I would just make a bit at a time and save the rush of last minute decorations. Plus this party is going to be at a very expensive and classy place so I want to show off! Is that wrong?
