Last evening I walked by the entertainment center, saw the DVD for season 2 and decided I had time to watch the first episode. 4 episodes later it is 1 in the morning. :lol: I haven't had supper yet so I am going to go get a bowl of Greek yogurt and relax a bit.

Goodnight everyone! Busy week here and I have not had time to hang around but I have thought about yall! Although I love the winter I am having bad PCB this week! I still have my Christmas décor up but the wife is putting her foot down and making me take it down this weekend. It's just a bad time of year...nothing going on...but I am counting down because I know how fast time goes by!!! it will be here before we know it! goodnight everyone I hope yall are doing good!

CAH and Sugar, I gave myself my first Vitamin B 12 shot today! CAH, it really has made a difference in my energy level! I knew it would, but I still had my concerns. Sugar, I had a difficult time getting the liquid into the syringe! I followed the directions, but for some reason, only a small amount would get into the syringe. I finally had success after about 20 minutes! Giving the actual shot was a cinch, even though it looks intimidating with a long needle (almost two inches long)!!! Now I can be Nurse Ratchet! CAH, when I get up tomorrow, I will look up the cost. I am so proud of myself and still amazed at the lack of pain! Soooo when Sugar is too busy, I can administer shots, LOL!

After having gone through chemo and radiation, my energy level was nonexistent. I had been having an IV infusion called a Myers cocktail which increases energy levels and aids in healing, such as healing from surgery. The cost of each IV was initially $270 or thereabouts. Luckily, the infusions went down price-wise until it hit $170 where it remained. The sad thing is that the infusions were not covered by insurance. I asked my doctor if I could give Vitamin B12 shots myself. She agreed, showed me how to it, and wrote a prescription for the B12 vials. Today was my first day of self-injection.

I really like the judges this year, I think they are a great combination. Especially after last season, which was a mess in my opinion.
And it seems like they really haven't been wasting too much time focusing on the the really bad singers. So far, so good. I'm looking forward to watching it.

Well, I'm not too far off from my blub above, I took the day off today from work and I have 3 different contractors coming to the house today to look at some tasks that I would like to have done. So, I'll be a little bit busy today but I'll be checking in from time to time to see what's up with everyone today....:transform:

Well after years of talking and planning, we have decided this summer we will be making the trip to Florida to go to Disney. Anyone been? Any tips to pass on to a first timer?

I just went to Walmart to pick up some cold medicines, vitamins, and preventative things like Airborne & EmergenC. I also got the chicken noodle soup, crackers, and sprite. Think we are set!
Thanks for the get well wishes & prayers, Adrian says thanks as well!
I also felt it necessary to check the Christmas clearance, and am I ever glad I did!
Here is what I picked up:
5 Christmas shirts, tinsel, a Santa ornament, chocolate nut mix, and candy canes, all for $12.00!
That lifted my spirits!
I'm going to lay down for a bit, but sending lots of love to you all~

Our winters tend to linger even after the official start of spring in March. Our first snow was in April last year lol!

I am feeling very yucky, and I am miserable. I am going to try to go to work tomorrow, really don't want to be out just a week and a half after a vacation.

The season WILL be here before you know it . January and February are the worse but you will soon have other things to distract you during the year to help you get through the wait for Christmas.

The doctor said Maggie's heart looks fine. There are definitely signs of the airway disease though. We will have to fiddle with the medicine and hopefully figure out what will help her to be more comfortable.

That is wonderful news that it's not her heart. I don't know to much about the air way disease but I hope they figure out what works best for her and she can find some comfort soon.

Good Afternoon MMC!!!!! It's been snowing like crazy here!!! It was like a whiteout at some points on our way to mom's doctors appointments. They actually had to close down the interstate because there was so many wrecks on it. It looks like one more heavy band and then we should be done with this clipper though. There is more to come though. We'll have about 3 inches today and then we are supposed to get another 1 to 2 inches tomorrow and then 3 to 5 on saturday. Crazy!!! Mom's appointment went well though. The heart monitor came back fine. The doctor still wants her to do a sleep study but her insurance won't pay for it at the hospital. So they are going to try and get her approved for a home sleep study through their office. She has also been complaining about being more forgetful, so they are going to do an EEG next tuesday along with a few blood tests. Now I'm off to get some stuff done around here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

So glad that your mum's heart monitor results were fine. Fingers crossed that they can arrange the home study. Keeping her in prayer for all her other upcoming tests.
