Not sure if you've seen the Babe movies, but they have animals in them that are so cute. There is one scene that makes me cry, the one where the "injured" dog that gets around with the aid of a little wagon-type thingy, goes to heaven (dream) and has the use of all his legs. Even though this is a comedy, this makes me cry every time. I think that one is Babe in the City.

We are going to the Elks Lodge for goodies tonight (in about 20 minutes). I made pimiento cheese to take with us. I just sneaked a taste and it is divine!!! Hmmm. I might have to make some for Sunday's game!

I work part of the weekend as well, but I can't complain, after having yesterday & today off.

Good morning everyone`! I am playing hooky today I have to work Monday so this way I still get a 3 day weekend. I am home listening to Bob and Sheri on the radio, I use to get them when I lived in Ga but I have to listen on the computer now. They were talking about the saddest movie you will ever watch, and because it's January we all need a good cry right? Has anyone heard of it? it's an Asian movie that was remade here in the states in 2009 I don't even know the name of it because I don't even know how to pronounce it, but there is a book about it too. The movie features Richard Gere in 2009 and it's about a dog that follows him to the train station everyday and they become buddies then Richard Gere character dies and the dog keeps coming back every day to see him(sob sob) has anyone heard of this movie or book? I would love to have a good cry right about now!lol have a great morning everyone!

They just finished the stamping and it looks wonderful!!! It looks like we have slate out there! They will come back after the concrete cures to stain it. I can't get too close right now because the concrete sidewalks are still "wet," but as soon as that cures, too, I will get better pictures.

It's going to look fantastic!!!

Dawg, you will love this movie. It's one of my favorites. About loyalty, love, devotion, etc. Animals are so amazing!

My friend Jules just adopted a puppy, a shiba inu. And "Hachi" is an Akita Inu, same family, just different in size. I told her that she had to see this movie!

Leaves are made with gum paste, wired to give it shape and the wires are covered with florist tape. Painted with edible dusting powder and then coated with edible varnish.

oops I had to go back and correct my post..I meant to say Im NOT joking...I will need therapy probably too. I have to believe though that in the afterlife our pets are there with us too so we will see them again in heaven!!

Goodnight everyone! Busy week here and I have not had time to hang around but I have thought about yall! Although I love the winter I am having bad PCB this week! I still have my Christmas décor up but the wife is putting her foot down and making me take it down this weekend. It's just a bad time of year...nothing going on...but I am counting down because I know how fast time goes by!!! it will be here before we know it! goodnight everyone I hope yall are doing good!

I hope the PCBs subside.
We still have our 7.5 ft tree up, I will probably take it down Sunday along with the rest of the decor. I hate taking it all down.

I go to thrift shops all the time. Great finds Christmas!!

I visit the local Goodwill store almost weekly, I have found so many Christmas treasures there.
