Good morning!
Well I definitely have a cold, I'm feeling worse this morning. I'm going to keep taking the Cold Eeze, hopefully it will help. And I'm going to pick up some cold pills, they should help me feel better.
I barely got any sleep because Maggie was up coughing most of the night. I'm going to call the veterinarian this morning and let her know this medication isn't doing anything to help the poor thing.
Not too much going on today but I do need to go food shopping. Wish I didn't have to go but I need too many things to put it off.

I woke up feeling completely miserable, and couldn't will myself into going in to work today. I have been sitting and taking it easy today, just going to take the next few days just to try to feel better. Every year I get sick in January and end up missing time at work.
It looks like it can't make up its mind on what it wants to do outside today, we are supposed to get a couple of inches of snow, but it starts and then stops, all I know is I am having a hard time keeping warm. :cold:

I will probably pop in and out throughout the day.

I hope your Saturday is going well.

Hope you feel better today. Being ill is the worst thing ever!

I've been known to combine my two loves of bacon and pizza and have bacon on my pizza...the way I believe the Good Lord intended it.

This is the best way to do it! DH and I LOVE it this way!!!

A nice slow day, thank you! We've been snug and warm inside (well, except when Mr. went out to shovel snow), watching lots of video---everything from Dragnet to Buster Keaton. My kind of a Saturday evening!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend... I have been rather busy taking down my xmas decorations. I found out Friday for sure that I will be deployed to Korea for 9 months I have been there before back in 94 and 95 when I was just a senior Airman so I know what to expect I will still be able to be in contact here,and I should be home by Christmas 2014!

I've always been an NFC fan so I'll likely support whichever of the 2 remaining NFC teams prevails vs the AFC champion.

It was quite cold all day yesterday and I never saw the thermometer get out of the 30's all day.
It should be better today but for now, we have begun the day at a still chilly 35 degrees here in the capital city.

I will be keeping you, Brandi, and the boys in my prayers - I know how hard this is going to be on all of you. DH's boss, who is the fire chief for the whole city is also being deployed again and I would have to ask him again where, so he could tell me, but he will be away until Thanksgiving or so. One of his daughter's just had twins a month ago. I will be praying extra hard for you guys. Lots of love!
