Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning!
The latest storm forecast for us is 8 to 14 inches of snow by Wednesday morning. I'm as ready as I can be. I'm a little bit nervous about my daughter going in to work later tonight. I'm not sure if they will close the store early. I'm hoping they will otherwise I will have to go out driving in the worst part of the storm. Not too much else going on today. I'm going to start some chores. I'm also going to call my parents and make sure they have everything they need.

Morning!! I haven't popped in lately.. expecting snow today, now it's up to 10-14 inches... School is letting out early. Have to pick up my little Jude in a few!!

Maggie is about the same. Her doctor wants me to try and stick with the medicine that she is taking right now. I don't think there are a whole lot of options. The COPD is most likely going to progress and she wants to be able to step up the medicine when that happens. She did prescribe a cough medicine though and I have been giving it to her at bedtime, seems to be helping a bit. So that's good. Thank you for asking!

I'm glad that the cough medicine is helping her She remains in my prayers! Please give your sweet babies a hug for Harlowe & I!!

BEE. U. TIF. UL Day!!!

It was about 60 degrees today, nice and sunny. Took baby for a walk, picked up the house, got some work done, and visited with my folks. Now, it's back to work.

It was 60 at 2:00 pm, now we stand at 45. It's going to keep dropping until it hits around 15 tomorrow night around 6:00 pm. Gonna be chilly, but not as cold as some of you! Y'all stay warm!

I'm off, time to head to bed. No ballgames tomorrow night, but it will still be a heck of day. I've got some rough stuff to deal with. Hope some of the involved parties cooled down over the weekend.

Good morning,

I still feel pretty yucky, I left the house for the first time since Saturday morning to bring the kids to school, and run an errand. That did not sit well, it made me feel worse.
Just sitting here watching the TV, bored outta my gourd. I am really missing Christmas today, I just wanted to drive to a store to look at Christmas stuff but I know that would be fruitless at this point. :-(

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! It's a cold, windy, snowy day here. We got about 2 inches this morning but with 40mph winds, it was almost like a blizzard out there. The snow was just blowing everywhere. So a lot of the school districts ended up canceling school again. I got up and shoveled a path to mom's car for her this morning but almost as soon as i got done, it was covered again. So I gave up on shoveling the rest and came back in and went back to bed. I just got back up here about an hour ago. So at least I made up for some up that sleep I have been missing. This afternoon I need to get some stuff done here around the apartment and then I'll probably head out and try shoveling again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Gosh, it's BAD outside!!! So slippery! I have an AWD car and slid twice, almost out of control the one time!! Elementary isn't even getting out until 2! Foolish move... I am thankful AM kindergarten got out at 11:15!

Thanks, buddy!!! The winds have died down some but not much. I just tried to open my screen door and couldn't. The snow is all piled up in front of it. So I guess I'll be using the back door when I go out.

The extra sleep felt great!!! Hopefully it doesn't keep me from sleeping tonight now though.

Sounds like we have the same weather again! BRRRRRR!!! That wind is horrid!!! I just got back from lunch & getting the mail....WOW! COLD! Hoping after work I can go home & stay there!!! If your winds have died down, maybe ours will then soon too!!!
