I have never heard of fisher cats before...and that's ok! Lol!

I saw one for the first time a couple of years ago while I was deer hunting. I was up in a tree stand and around 8am one cold frosty morning when I heard this rustling of the leaves (which will really get your attention) coming straight towards me from the other side of the hill.

Then I saw this, well (it kinda reminded me of an otter with a fur coat), and I was just glued to it, watching it scamper around in the woods for about 15-20 minutes. I never knew what it was until I got back home later on in the week and did a search on the internet of the area I was hunting in, thru the DNR website. That's when I discovered that it was a fisher that I was looking at....

I know it's cold in so much of the USA right now.
Today we celebrated my daughter's birthday with a brunch at our house.
It's hard to believe she is a grown woman with little ones of her own!
I'll be catching up as I can around here on what you are all up to.
