Christmas Countdown - 2014

Someone got that wrong, which is fine with me. We have seen lower temperatures this month with more snow than we have seen for 20 years according to the news tonight.

We miss you, too. But also understand! Sometimes our lives are just busier than other times, depending on work schedules & whatnot.

It was a delicious 58 in my neck of the woods today but that polar vortex will be popping here next week with lows of 7 and 9 for a couple of days with highs in the mid-20's. Got my pets' room ready so they can stay inside during the cold and have my hot chocolate, hot tea, and soup stocked up as well.

God bless any person and any animal having to be out in the cold for any reason. It is not an easy one to get through this year. Remember, if you have any good coats or blankets that you don't know what to with there are lots of local charities glad to take them off your hands and give them to those who need them.

was cleaning up and my daughter found a Christmas ornament under the couch. I am quite sure that was Penny's doing, she was always climbing in the tree and knocking ornaments off and playing with them.
