Just got my electric bill for this last month. Now to decide which arm and leg I don't need anymore.

Still no Josh Groban cd though.

Boo!! What the heck!

My Mom just got her birthday card yesterday, it only took a week and a half?! Glad it made it, though..

How bad was your bill?

Ours was $250, and as much as that stinks, we expected it to be more. Next month will probably be, lol.

Hello World!!!!! Just checking in; heard a rumour.......something about an opera???!!!!!!! LOVE Binger's operas - absolute class

Hope everybody is well and, if not, hope you feel better soon. Things in swinging downtown Scotland are same old, same old. Weather here is, quite surprisingly, not too bad............okay, let me qualify that............the temperature isn't too bad. Rain, however, is another matter entirely. It has rained probably everyday since Christmas and for the past 2 days the roads (yes, roadS) to work have been flooded. Luckily, I'd already planned to have these days off!!!!!!

The hounds are well although Cracker is a bit scabby just now. Some skin condition but we pin him down every few days or so and give him a bath which sort of keeps it a little under control. As you can guess, we're just SO popular when we do that!!!

My boss gets early retirement at the end of March so it's all change. Think I mentioned before his job is between two of us........watch this space! The powers that be have also decided that they are moving our premises which is fine in theory. They just have to find somewhere (and somewhere SUITABLE) to put us!!!!

Can't think of much else to tell you........Bruce is 3/4 of the way through his probationary teaching year...........for their science lessons, he turned the classroom into a hospital and each week they were a different ward - cardio, osteo etc etc..........

Merry on, Christmas folk!!!!

I expected around $200 and it was $193. It was only an estimated reading though. So I'm afraid it will be really bad next month when they really come out to read it.

Glad she finally got it!!!! I'm thinking they lied when the said they sent my cd out on the 18th.

Hey Maureen!

Hope you get a break on the rain, and get a few days of sunshine.

Hope Cracker's skin condition heals soon, poor sweetie. He is in my prayers

Hope all goes well with the location change of your job, and your boss's retirement.

That is awesome about Bruce! Sounds like he's doing great & loving being a teacher.

Cheers & love to you all!

That's great!! Don't blame you a bit for wanting to spend time at home! The couple that manages the Legion here in town just happens to be some of our best friends, so we try to support their activates when we can! Many of our friends gather there, so it's always a good time! A lot of times people bring their kids & they all have a ball together too!

That's nice you go there to support them and it's get they're family friends. Sounds like it a great place to get together and hang on!

Merry Friday! We are here again, another week closer to our favourite time of year. I can't believe it is the end of the month already.

Not much planned for weekend. I am in work for part of it and the rest of it will be spent just indoors. We tend to hibernate on weekends during the cold months lol!

Tonight we are watching an old movie , Affair in Trinidad with the beautiful Rita Hayworth. I bought this ages ago and haven't watched it yet. Tomorrow we will watch a family film , Jack and the Giant Slayer so looking forward to those.

Looking forward to this evening when everyone gets in and we can just get in our pyjamas and chill.

What are you all up to this weekend?

Have a fun start to the weekend everyone!!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend, Festive! Enjoy yourself!

Note to self. No more pillow fights with my niece. She has quite the swing anymore. Now where is the Excedrin. LOL!!!

My sister just picked her up so I should do something constructive now. I don't really want to though. So I may just put it all off until tomorrow afternoon.

That made me laugh (sorry)
I hope you have a relaxing evening!

Good evening! I know I haven't read many of the posts, but I plan on getting caught up tomorrow. DH and I going out tonight with one of my girlfriends from work and her husband. I am very excited, as we haven't been out to actually do anything with another couple, except dinner since last St. Pats Day! My parents are watching the kids for us. It's long over due!

I hope you all have a great evening and a great start to your weekend! I'll check in at some point this evening! God Bless!

Hello everyone. Well, now my son is sick! Ready for this stuff to leave the house!

Hope you all are doing good. It's almost Friday!

Praying your son is better soon!

Thanks Made, Snowflake!

Today, I learned the definition of fear.

As I was working, an announcement came over the intercom saying they needed me in the office, which almost never happens. So I knew something was up.

As I get closer, I see my assistant run out of the office with my keys. He runs to me down the hallway and said the babysitter called and she needed me....it was an emergency.

My cellphone had six missed calls, all from the babysitter. As I was driving across town, I called and all I could hear was the baby screaming. It was all I could do to keep it on the road.

When I got there, the baby had rolled off the bed and landed on the hardwood floor. Last night, the baby rolled three times in one direction. We forgot to tell her. So she was laying in the bed playing with the baby and before she knew it, the baby was out of arms reach and her legs was hanging off the bed, from thigh down....she started sliding and the babysitter grabbed her hand as she went over the side, but her hand slipped out of hers. She hit her head on the ground.

My cousin is a doctor and lives 1/2 between our town and the hospital. She met me on the interstate and jumped in the truck with me. You can't imagine how I felt when she said, "Ballcoach, slow down. Bambina is fine. She's gonna be fine."

And she is....has a good little knot, but she is fine. No broken bones, no concussion, all good.

The emotion and stress of it has hit me in the past hour...I'm soooo tired. I'm about to head off to bed. But you better believe I will give thanks tonight, more than usual.

Y'all have a good night. Can't wait to spend the weekend with everyone here and I can't wait for all the football fun.

Oh, my, coach, I am so sorry you had such a scary experience. Thank God Little Bambina is fine! I will keep all of you in my prayers! {{{HUGS}}}
