Happy Friday everyone!!

Not too muich of a weekend planned which is fine with me. We might go to a friend's house to watch a little of the Super Bowl.

It is finally warming up a but here in CT and they are saying maybe some snow for Tues night into Wed we'll see!!

He is a wild one. He eventually calmed down. After he dove in to a vase of flowers. It's a good thing they're fake flowers, I can't have real ones in the house because he tries to eat them!

Hello World!!!!! Just checking in; heard a rumour.......something about an opera???!!!!!!! LOVE Binger's operas - absolute class

Hope everybody is well and, if not, hope you feel better soon. Things in swinging downtown Scotland are same old, same old. Weather here is, quite surprisingly, not too bad............okay, let me qualify that............the temperature isn't too bad. Rain, however, is another matter entirely. It has rained probably everyday since Christmas and for the past 2 days the roads (yes, roadS) to work have been flooded. Luckily, I'd already planned to have these days off!!!!!!

The hounds are well although Cracker is a bit scabby just now. Some skin condition but we pin him down every few days or so and give him a bath which sort of keeps it a little under control. As you can guess, we're just SO popular when we do that!!!

My boss gets early retirement at the end of March so it's all change. Think I mentioned before his job is between two of us........watch this space! The powers that be have also decided that they are moving our premises which is fine in theory. They just have to find somewhere (and somewhere SUITABLE) to put us!!!!

Can't think of much else to tell you........Bruce is 3/4 of the way through his probationary teaching year...........for their science lessons, he turned the classroom into a hospital and each week they were a different ward - cardio, osteo etc etc..........

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with a high in the mid 40's. Then another 2 to 4 inches of snow overnight. At least the rain has melt the ice we got overnight. I have a few errands that I want to get out of the way this morning and then this afternoon, I think I have to babysit my youngest niece while my sister and oldest niece go out to deliver girl scout cookies. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Morning all
So, we've been to the vet and have got MORE shampoo for Cracker. He hates it but stands there stoically with those "I don't know why you're doing this to me but I'll still love you anyway" eyes!!!

We have some friends who, well let's just say, aren't functioning as well as normal. She's broken her leg and he's just had his whole knee replaced and they've got a 3 year old!!! So, this past month we've been - or rather, my other half has been - taking them to various appointments, picking the 3 year old up from school, getting shopping (he actually works for them so just a variation in duties) I'm now designated babysitter and taker to Sunday Schooler, which is feeling, I have to say, a bit weird!!!! I can, however, hear my mother in my head saying "See, I knew I'd get you back to church one way or another"!!!!!! Sandy has to go down this afternoon - I think he's sorting out their fireplace - and then I got a call to go with him.......they need some vacuuming done!!!!!!!! I seriously don't know why they think I've got the domestic streak; it's all him!!!!!!!!!!

So, it's all about topping up on coffee and going vacuuming........that's a sentence I never thought I'd write............later, Christmas people!!!!!!

Merry Saturday! Happy First Day of February! Wow where did the last month go?

We are having a good Saturday so far. American Idol starts this evening so I may watch it , the auditions are always so funny.

I am at work tomorrow so if I don't make it back be sure to have a great weekend all of you! Happy Superbowl Sunday from now to! It will start around 10:30 at night here. We popped out this morning to get a few snacks in, looking forward to it!

It's raining cats & dogs here, too. My nephew's birthday party is today, and he wanted me to bring the train. My dad made this train that you pull behind a golf cart or 4-wheeler, and little kids love it:

I could've sworn it was 10pm 2 hours ago, it has been a very long day. I ended up breaking down 7 pallets of merchandise, 6 of which were taller than myself with boxes weighing up to 85lbs. Needless to say I am once again beat, I quickly went through today's posts. I want to get to bed early since I have to be in to work early in the morning. At least I have Sunday off.

They are calling for snow overnight so Jim might have to help him get in the house! Mom had her appt with the cardiologist today & her EKG was normal...more good news! Hopefully it stays that way!!!

Good morning!
I'm having a cup of coffee and enjoying some peace and quiet. My husband is working this morning and the girls are sleeping in. I'm so happy my oldest has off from work today and can rest. She hasn't had a break since she got sick a few days ago. No big plans for today. I'm going to take the girls out later to grab something for lunch and I have to food shop at some point. I'm running low on coffee creamer so I will probably go food shopping soon! Other than that, just doing my daily chores.
