Ryan, it's quite thick because of the fancy stitches, so I imagine it would be cozy. I folded it and packed it into a giant ziplock bag so it won't get snagged on anything until I give it to the bride in June.

Here is the Aran Hearts afghan I finished last night. I'm very pleased with it! I think it's a wee bit smaller than gauge, though (even though I was good and made a swatch).

(Another thing I love about the sofa we got in September: it's a great place to photograph afghans!)

Oh my! I am in awe of your skill. It is absolutely beautiful!! How much would a work like that be?

LC is sick, he stayed home from school today and will be again tomorrow. He had a fever of 102, poor little guy.



I am heading to sleep, it may be a rough night for sleep if he has a tough night.

Hey guys! I am just relaxing a bit and catching up on your happenings. I had my middle child move back in this past week. So, it's been a little crazy making room once again. Oy!
Our youngest son just got a job in Madison, (90 minute drive), so he's going out, but the other son is in back in!
Yeah...I know you're smiling as you read this. No empty nesting over here folks...nope.
It's okay, we laugh about it, (sometimes)! LOL!

I hope things settle down for you soon!

sounds like my house! My oldest should be getting her own place soon, just waiting to hear when it is ready to move into. That is what we get for not changing the locks when they leave LOL

Chilly yesterday with little sun. At least we had no rain.
Should not be too bad over the next few days but it will still be a bit wintery.
We record 35 degrees on thermometer, currently.
