I don't want to be that person in Russia right now!!!

Excellent idea, Xmas. I also saw Easter stuff earlier last week! And Easter is not until April 20, over two months away!!!

I keep seeing the Reese's peanut butter eggs, Cadbury creme eggs, and small bags of Cadbury mini eggs, no big honking bags of the mini eggs yet. :-?

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 5 degree's. That's actually a decent improvement over the -7 we were at a few hours ago. We should get up to the mid teen's this afternoon. I crashed hard last night. All of those days of hardly any sleep finally caught up with me and I got a solid 8 hours of sleep last night. Which for me, is a miracle. Not much going on today. Just have some more laundry to do and then I want to do some things around my bedroom. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Glad you were able to get some solid sleep.

Me too! I still have my decorations on my mantle along with a string of colored lights. That's the only decorations I have left out.

I still have all my winter themed things out - snowmen, sleds, etc.

Which person? Did I miss something???

Did you see when the snowflake lights turned into the rings, well one of them didn't. Whoever was controlling them, I bet really got yelled at or whatever wrong, I am still someone got yelled at!

Hello MMC!
It is another chilly day but it is sunny out, so that's good.
Typical day here of errands and chores. I already went to butcher and CVS this morning. I'm going to head back out for a few more things after lunch.
My youngest daughter is leaving for Florida a week from tomorrow. She was invited to go with one of her friends, the family has another home down there in Tampa. They will be there for a week, during their Winter recess. It was kind of a last minute thing, we just purchased her plane ticket. This is the same family that took her on a cruise last year. They are so good to her. She wants to go swimsuit shopping over the weekend. I hope we can find some stores that have them out already. It's hard to think about swimsuit shopping with these frigid temperatures that we're having!
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Friday!

That is so nice of them to invite your youngest on the trips.
If you find a swimsuit, be sure to complain that it is waaaaay to soon to be selling swimsuits. Let us enjoy the winter without throwing summer in our faces. cheesy

Valerie just posted on facebook that she is meeting with the QVC buyers to plan out her fall shows and asked what everyone wanted. The sheer number of people asking for more mercury glass has me afraid for the future of society.

Noooooooooooo!

Price-wise? I honestly don't know! I just crochet just because I enjoy it. I give afghans, hats, scarves, and mittens as gifts or donate them to charities. (I don't use expensive yarn, so the cost of the yarn isn't a strain.) I've sold/auctioned three Christmas afghans on the forum and given the money to Santa's Sleigh (the forum's charity). Each one of those raised $100 to $200. I have a small picture album online here of a few of my projects.

They are beautiful and I look forward to the next auction.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Nancy had been having trouble with dizziness lately, and it was even worse yesterday. Luckily, she had an appt. scheduled for yesterday afternoon with a physical therapist to address the issue. We were both skeptical about a PT being able to help with this, but in about 30 minutes she had Nancy fixed-up! It all seems very fantastical, but it has to do with the misalignment of "crystals" in the inner ear. With a few deft motions, turning Nancy's head from left to right, everything went back to normal. Crazy, but I'll take it. As they say, when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

Lunch with my mom & brother today, then more work, work, work.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Thats wonderful! I am thinking of trying hypnotherapy for weight management. Has anyone ever gone this path?
