Good Morning Christmas peeps!
I have successfully avoided news coverage on the Olympics by blocking news stations on my facebook page and changing my homepage on the computer to just google search - no news reports on there! Now I can watch the tape delayed Olympics without knowing who the winners are! Two years ago I did this for Summer Olympics and it worked! I am sure somewhere somehow I will run across results early but working hard not to find out! Jeff mentioned someone threatening a news channel for exposing results early, umm... a little extreme?! Ha ha! Just avoid the coverage like I do!!!! I still wish they would say "spoiler alert". They did on one of my local news channels 4 years ago but didn't 2 years ago and this year. Oh well, I guess not really THAT big of a deal but I like to be surprised! cheesy

Homemakingirl, when does Aidan's Olympic event start?
I was in and out all day yesterday and I didn't get to catch too much of the coverage. He apparently had first run jitters yesterday, it wasn't his best run. Men's Luge singles go again today. I'm reading something about them being scheduled for 9:30 a.m. but I'm not sure when it airs on tv. I'm so confused!

I'm having a cup of coffee and relaxing. Everyone is sleeping in today, the house is nice and quiet! I really wanted to stay in bed today but Bentley woke me up bright and early. Little stinker. I don't have too much planned for today but I'm sure that will change, it always does. We are expecting a couple of inches of snow tonight. Nothing major but I think I'll drive my youngest in to work later, she has a closing shift. I'm going to finish my cup of coffee and get started on some chores. I also have to fry meatballs and get a pot of sauce going for dinner. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Snow kinda melted yesterday, but it will all be gone today. We are supposed to get up to 48 degrees today and then drop down into the teens tonight and stay there for a couple of days. More snow moving in...

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a decent day with a high of 23 today. We've got about an inch of snow this morning and it is still coming down. It doesn't look like we will get to much more though. The below zero temps return after it passes though. Boo!!!! I don't really know what I'm going to do today. I thought about going out to do some shopping but I don't know if I will. It's nothing I need right away. Just before I go camping again in a couple of months. So I may just sit here and watch tv all day. I don't know. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Went out and got the car washed this morning---it was so caked with salt and road chemicals. Of course, by the time I got back there was already slush up in the wheel wells. I have to be at work early tomorrow and we're supposed to get a couple inches of snow overnight, so that'll be an adventure.
Nothing much going on today, I'm happy to say. When I get through here I think I'll make some tea and watch an episode of Downton Abbey. (I'm in the second season, so no spoilers!)
I started crocheting the Yule Tree Pillow. Oh, boy. It's keeping me on my toes and wearing out my hand and arm. I'm glad I didn't decide to make the afghan first! I think today I'll work on something less demanding to give my poor little finger muscles a rest. My right hand was stiff when I woke up this morning.
BTW, if anyone else makes this pattern---it says Row 1 (odd rows) are the wrong side, but that's wrong. Odd rows are the RIGHT side.
