Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good afternoon, MMC!

Sunny and very cold day here. I should be out doing something constructive, but not feeling all that great and I cannot seem to get warm. Started "The Moonstone" by Wilkie Collins yesterday. As I read it, I hear the voices of several of the "Downton Abbey" characters. cheesy

Thanks Made. Unfortunately something came up. My daughter had a hair color emergency, lol. I'm sitting in the beauty parlor right now while she has it corrected. I'm lucky we found a salon open on Sunday that fit her in. Grrr.

I started crocheting the Yule Tree Pillow. Oh, boy. It's keeping me on my toes and wearing out my hand and arm. I'm glad I didn't decide to make the afghan first! I think today I'll work on something less demanding to give my poor little finger muscles a rest. My right hand was stiff when I woke up this morning.

BTW, if anyone else makes this pattern---it says Row 1 (odd rows) are the wrong side, but that's wrong. Odd rows are the RIGHT side.

Back from church. Children's church went well, set up for 12 got 5 so I have left over cupcakes, anyone want them? The kids enjoyed it and it was fun doing it with them.
Not much going on this afternoon other than taking my daughter to work for 3pm.
Watching Olympics, the mens ski jump is on right now. Would never get me to try that!
It is snowing, again.

Hi guys!!! Lazy Sunday here... making some pizza dough, been playing Legos all day with the kids. We saw the Lego movie yesterday and I highly recommend it, even to adults! A really sweet movie!

It's better, thanks. I started a hat to work on today that's not as hard to work with. We had some nice turkey sandwiches and soup for lunch, and I'll be returning to the hat shortly!

The PO has a deal where you can ship a certain size box for one price, no matter the weight. I wanted to send magazines to my daughter and the box that would fit them was like $8.00. If I used the same size box and sent only feathers (LOL), it would still cost $8.00. I am not sure what the largest size box is, though.

Praying for you and your baby. It is so hard when we have pets with health problems but can't tell you if and where they hurt.

Snow? I wish! How can hot Texas get it and we can't?

I have been a little busy with my little Chico. He has a heart condition and ran into some problems last week. He has been to the vet twice this week.
