I've given up coffee a few times. I was told it would be very hard and I was really dreading what would happen. The first week or so was rough as there were quite a few headaches and I was grumpy, but after that it was all right. The second time was easier as I knew what to expect. The worry and dread I put myself through before actually giving up coffee probably made it much worse than it would have been had I just chilled. cheesy

I really enjoy it but I must have weened myself to less over the years. I discovered some great teas and natural hot beverages and also thought since I drink all black, no sweetener I could reduce instant to 1/2 teaspoon and reduce from a mug to cup for plunger. I think I can easily fool my subconscious with drinks... I wish it were that easy with food; I just ate a packet of raspberry m&ms even though my stomach said STOP!

THEY CAUGHT HIM!!!! I am SO excited! BUT it was a kid that lives in the same subdivision as us! UGH! This lady, step son, & son moved into town a few years ago & they have been nuttin but trouble! (but nothing THIS serious before) He is 18 & he is in jail! Comparing the picture of the guy who stole the truck from the park & this kid they arrested, it looks really possible that it's the same guy! I sure hope it is!!!! It would make perfect sense b/c he lives by the park the 1st truck was stolen from! What a dumb _ _ _!!! (sorry)

I am so relieved on your behalf that they have caught this guy. I hope it will make you all rest a little easier now. Hope you had fun with your friends last night. Pizza BBQ chicken sounds delicious!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!!!!! It's a chilly day here with a high of 25 degree's this afternoon. We might see a few inches of snow tonight butt he big worry is still the storm on Sunday. Everyone is still predicting 6 to 10 inches of snow but some of the new models are coming in even heavier. Hopefully they are wrong!!! I'm trying to get ahead on some chores today and then I need to run to the grocery store. I'm sure it will be stupid busy tonight, so I may wait until tomorrow to do it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone and happy Friday too! I am kinda ashamed I abandoned the forum lately but the past couple of weeks were crazy at the uni! Fortunately, my two major assessments have been already submitted (I feel that scientific article went better than I had expected but I will see what grade I will get) and although I still have three more assignments to do, I expect things to go a little easier so I should be able to come here more often.
Anyway, I hope you all are doing great. I can't believe that it is first day of calender spring tomorrow! I am looking forward to spring for the reason I don't know. ^^

Don't worry we all have phases when life gets so busy it becomes hard to stay up to date here. Don't feel guilty. Glad to hear you are getting ahead with your assignments. Enjoy some free time over the weekend.

I'm out shopping for a camping chair. I'm pretty short and very fussy. I have plonked my butt into so many seats for the last 2 months that Mr is getting annoyed with me. Some I like but I don't like them enough to spend $100.

Santa Clause 1& 2 are on tv tonight. Although I like it - and as a kid only saw chrissy movies etc 1 week before Christmas - I feel it reduces the specialness we try to create for kids.

Merry Morning! It is a beautiful ,bright, sunny morning here very fitting for the first day of March!! Hooray! The start of March makes me feel like a captain of a ship who has been sailing through treacherous waters and suddenly the sea is calm.

Realistically I know spring will not happen here for another few weeks for us (we may even get a cold snap/snow soon) but the days are longer and the sunlight seems somehow brighter.

I am working tomorrow so I am going to just take it easy today and catch up with family time.

I can't describe how excited I am for spring! Longer days, hopefully more sunshine and Easter. I love Easter!

Hope you all have some nice plans for the weekend. :] I am just gonna catch up with uni work I missed last week due assessments. I am also delivering a speech at Rotary Club on Wednesday so I hope to note down some ideas and make a draft for it.
