Good Morning, New Weekers and Milestone Anticipators.
Now, just having passed a Milestone, you might be tempted to think there won't be another one along for a while.
But you would be wrong, for our next marker is just NINE days away and it's the ONE QUARTER mark to Christmas Day 2014.
The daily figures:
Days to the Season: 241
Days to Christmas Day: 283
Rainy and coolish yesterday.
Likely more of the same today.
At least no severe weather is forecast.
We have commenced the new week at a damp 34 degrees here in central NC.
Now question:
Are ye a-wearin' o' the green today, me laddies and lassies?
If not, beware of pinchers!
Have a Marvelous Monday and a Stupendous St. Patrick's Day Everyone!
Happy Saint Patricks day for those of you who celebrate it. I have some Irish in my family but it's not something I really identify with. My wife has some too. It's funny because my son has very fair skin and red hair. I'm part Cherokee, and since I'm on the roll my kids are listed as Native American at school for funding and tutoring purposes (schools around here receive funding for every Native American student enrolled). Anyway, they always look at my son with curiosity and ask what tribe he is. I always just say "the Irish."
Do today must be his holiday. He's in spring break so I know he'll enjoy it!
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Enjoy the beautiful snow!
Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to warm back up some today with a high in the low 50's. Mom has an appointment with her family doctor here in a little bit to follow up about the stroke and set up blood tests to work out the right dose of the new blood thinner. I also need to run by the store to pick up a few things I forgot over the weekend. Then it will be back home to let my Irish side shine and cook corned beef for dinner. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
Hope mom's appointment goes well!
Enjoy your Irish dinner!! And nice weather!!

Good St. Patrick's Day morning, my Christmas friends!
I'm very Irish, with a name like McCooey, and I even have an Uncle Patrick. There are lots o' us in NY, but down here I'm so busy that the only name I answer to is Daddy.
Elizabeth's showcase dance after the week-long intensive dance camp was very good, but it was included in a show by the dance troupe that taught the class. They were doing mostly contemporary "weird" dancing, but by the end of the show they were in tuxedos and dresses dancing to more familiar music.
Hopefully things will slow down a bit now. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
