Christmas Countdown - 2014

Well Mom's blood level was still normal today. So we go back friday to see if the blood thinner is working yet or if they will have to increase it. It sounds like we are going to be there an awful lot over the next couple of months until they find a dose that will get it stabilized at where they want it.

Continued prayers for continued good news/results for your Mom!

Hey all! Headed to bed for a nap before work. I am looking forward to the first day of spring tomorrow! Hopefully it will soon feel like it.

really wanted to read all the posts, but cannot stop yawning.

Working two jobs is not so bad, glad to have weekends off.
Have to get on my sons case to make sure he does some things around here.
Like cooking a gourmet dinner with an elegantly set table ready to go when I get home!
That's not to much to ask is it?

Nope, not asking much too much at all! Although, I tell my hubby that same thing when he has a day off & it never seems to happen. Hmmmm.... Good luck!

Tomorrow, my baby turns 6, LC's birthday! I can't believe how fast these 6 years have gone. We will be having his party this weekend, but we will be having my in laws over for tacos and ice cream cake.

Good morning everyone! The wind is awful here today. My friend texted me earlier this morning saying that the bus to the campus is not going either. I have no idea how am I supposed to get there in a weather like this? I guess I will just walk and hope that wind won't blow me away. I hope none of you are experiencing this today - or at least public transport is going as usual.

I'm going to be busy this morning, my daughter and I each have doctor appointments. I do not like scheduling appointments back to back but I didn't really have a choice this time. Anyway, they're just routine appointments. I was also supposed to get together with my mother this afternoon but I'll have to see how I feel. I'm so tired, I wish I could crawl back in to bed right now!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! Well spring is starting out a little bit cool this morning but it should warm up into the low 50's this afternoon and then 60's tomorrow!! Not much going on here. Just going to take mom to the store so she can walk around some more. Then back home to do the normal cleaning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and Carl hasn't forgotten about St. Patrick's Day either!!!! He made everyone a green coffee cup and saucer as a door prize tonight!!!!

And they're enormous (of course), so I'm having my soup in mine today at lunchtime. Tomato soup. The red and green will look very Christmassy!

Good evening! Just settling down from the day and getting the baby all ready for bed. She is getting her bottle and things are getting quiet. Going to come by and do some reading then head to bed.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Wifey told me today about three or four more months and Hobby Lobby will be putting out ornaments....isn't that awesome!

WOW!!!! Hopefully it's warmer outside in 3-4 months. :lol:

Good morning MMC! Not much going on here. Shopping online for a new printer for the boss' house! Hubby went down to the Legion for their drawing last night - I stayed home, I was tired! The drawing was a must give, & hubby won $100! Was worth his trip! :smile:

I'm trying to decide what kind of soup to make for Sunday. My family is having a "soup sampling" - there will be 7 soups to sample, Mom made a sweet chex mix, sister bought bread dough to bake up (make the house smell yummy) another sister sent me a dessert recipe she wants me to bring. It's going to be a feast! I'm thinking about Cheeseburger Soup! Or Chicken Tortilla! Hmmmm! Yum!

I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday!!! :grin:
