Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,

We had a good relaxing day, my weekend off went way too fast. I start another 6 days in a row stretch tomorrow.
JP had his first day of baseball tryouts today, he said he did very well. The coaches wouldn't let parents watch.

I am very sleepy after my weekend.

Good morning!
Just had the dogs out back and it's chilly, we're only in the teens this morning. I listened to the forecast earlier and they are still tracking tomorrows storm but as of right now it looks like we'll only get about three inches.
Typical day for me, I have a couple of errands to run and plenty of chores to do. My daughter also has a doctor appointment this morning. She's finally seeing the ENT, we'll see if he thinks those tonsils should come out or not.

I am sure decor can change from year to year but this is one from the Gaylord Hotel inside (got this photo from the internet). You can get a room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful decorations. They also have the Christmas ice sculpture exhibit to look at as well. We have one nearby in the Dallas area in Grapevine, Texas. Every December we go to Downtown Grapevine and pass this hotel. We keep saying we are just going to go there just to look at the inside of it but haven't yet! I had told Wayne it would be nice to stop at the one in Nashville on the way to Maryland but since it's a brief overnight stay for sleep only, not arriving until very late and leaving before dawn the next day it would be a waste. I want to stay longer to enjoy it!!!

Keep us posted on what you decide to do. Sounds like a nice vacation!

That is sooo awesome! I have been to NYC at Christmastime twice and love it. It is the best time of the year to go. You will agree once you go. Just dress warm! :-D My family is going again in April. Can't wait!

Good morning, everyone! How are you all doing? All is going pretty well here. I am home alone today. DH got called to do overtime and he was already scheduled to work tonight, so he will be working for the next 24 hours. The kids were scheduled to go to daycare and school today, so I will be by myself until 4. I go back to work tonight too, so my sister will be coming this evening then to watch the kids.

What is everyone's plans for the day? I am just watching Christmas in Connecticut and am just enjoying some coffee. I don't really have much planned for today. I am just going to relax and get a little housework done.

I am sitting here drinking coffee with Niles on my lap along with my laptop. Yep, he is that small that I can fit both on my lap! Maris is sitting right beside me.

I didn't sleep well at all last night and have no idea why. We were super busy at work yesterday and worked very hard that I figured I would sleep well all night long but seemed to be up every hour. I don't feel too tired right now and I hope I can keep my energy today.

We got all our chicks, ducks and geese in at work along with tons of veggie plants. That is our "Christmas" rush! We will be busy for the next few months!

The last few times I have been on here I have not seen Mgramsey. Has anyone heard anything or have I just missed a post from being absent myself? I hope all is well!
