I hope the office has warmed up by now.

It took a while, but we seem to be back to normal!
I was afraid one of the workmen would mess with the louvers near the ceiling, but they didn't. A couple months back they were finally adjusted so they wouldn't blow cold air over me all day, and I didn't want to go back to that!

Exactly! I understand where you are coming from! That is exactly how I feel about summer here. Most folks up north don't suffer what we go through so you enjoy summer more than us. I guess the only way I will ever enjoy summer is move but that's not happening since all my family live here. So I suffer! LOL!

You all need a break from winter so send it all my way. I will be happy to take it away from you for a little while.

I know what you mean about watching kids grow up. I am watching children grow up where I work. We have one that was a little guy when I first started working there and now he works for us! It's really a cool thing to witness. You really become attached to the customers and make great friends. I love working in that type of environment. I know the customers love it here too. Another thing I love is when we have senior citizens come in and tell me stories of shopping at our store since they were children and shopping there for over 50 years! I love it! Our store recently became a landmark and got a landmark sign on placed outside our store! We work very hard but I have a lot of laughs and smiles on my face when I am at work. The employees, boss, owner and customers really make my day!

I would love to visit that store---especially when you're working there!

Yes and you just choke on the heat just walking from the house to the car. During the summer you will not see kids outside playing because it's too hot so they get cabin fever. I even try to take the grandkids to the park at 8 am and within 15 minutes they are miserable, sweaty, getting bit up by bugs and wanting to go back inside. I have met people who have come down here from up north to visit during the summer and they swear they will never do that again. lol.. Mgramsey use to live here in my town, he can vouch for the awful weather. He hated it and said he got cabin fever during the summer.

I do agree you guys need a much needed break from the long winters. We just need to even out these seasons so all of us north and south can enjoy the outdoors! =)

Well I managed to successfully find 3 pairs of shorts and 3 pairs of pants for my nephew. It just took going to every single store that sells clothes on the east side of Indy. You wouldn't think that finding pants on a day when it's snowing outside would be so hard but it was. Everyone is ready for spring and all they have left are jeans which my sister didn't want. I have also decided that I need to start a paving company. I don't think that there is a single parking lot out there that doesn't need work done to it after this last winter. Now I'm off to try and get some stuff done around the apartment before I have to go pick mom up from work.

I've read all of your posts and hopefully will have some time to respond to them tonight. If not, maybe Thursday. Tomorrow is going to be a lot more running.

Up late getting caught up here. I was watching the Bruins game, which they lost in a shootout, but my wife was watching DWTS so I watched most of the Bruins game on my Kindle. It looked awesome on it.

I have inventory tomorrow, I am not prepared for it. I had too much other stuff to get caught up with today and couldn't get myself set up for tomorrow. I don't have a lot of stock so hopefully it will still move along quite smoothly.

Merry Tuesday!! Terrible weather here today but not complaining. I just dropped my son of to school and now I am spending some time with Isaac. Some of you will remember I mentioned he was referred to a specialist at the start of the year. The referral has not come through yet but fingers crossed any day now. It can take up to 17wks so I am sure it 's been around that. Anyway I am getting a little impatient.

He is doing good though , trying very hard and I am so proud of my clever little boy.

Ok well I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to catch up a bit more with posts and replies but I have to dash.....

Good morning!
I'm having my coffee, watching the latest weather report. It looks like this storm is going to be minor for my area, they are still only predicting about 3 inches of snow. It's cold out there, we have temperatures in the mid teens this morning which is a new record low for this time of the year. We should be up to the 50's by next weekend though, so I'm looking forward to that.
I have a list of things I need from the supermarket, I'm going to try and get there early and beat the crowd. I mentioned a while ago that one of our smaller local supermarkets closed down and now I have to go to a Super Stop & Shop. I really miss the store that closed and I especially miss the employees, they were all so kind. Stop & Shop is always very crowded, I can't stand it.
Anyway, not too much else going. I'll just be working on some chores around the house.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My mom just called from her place in the NC Smoky Mountains (Pretty close to Mgramsey) and said they got 4" of snow last night. I'm so jealous I won't get to see any snow this year. I know some of you are tired of it by now, but I'd love to see just a little!

I have another meeting with the county commissioners tonight. I'll be glad when this Fire Dept. issue is finished. I had people stopping me in the restaurant yesterday asking about it. I even had folks stopping me Saturday while I was cutting grass. Calgon! Take me awayyyyyy!

Dinner with clients tomorrow night, though. Fancy supper!
