He was allowed to go to work and given a restraining order to stay away from them till at least it goes to court. But the house is isolated out in the country and I am worried about her safety.
I wanted to take her to the women's shelter but she refused to go. I would have loved to bring her here but we do not have the room.
The guy needs to go to jail, he has threatened and assulted my friend too but she still thinks she can fix this. Please pray that she gains the courage to protect herself, her yet to be born baby and her daughter.

I have the whole weekend off and I am so excited and thankful. My last one off was in December. It's crazy to think we are almost in April! I love this time of year because there is so much to look forward to and Christmas doesn't seem so far anymore.

Clocks change on Sunday but our temps won't be spring like for another few weeks. It is cold out but it is atleast dry his morning. We are expecting a mostly mild, dry weekend. It is supposed to be around 15C !!

Everyone has got Mother's Day (this sunday for us) and Easter on their minds. The shops were filled with Easter eggs etc. It reminded me that I really must start organising !!

Don't you just love that Friday feeling! Have a great end to the week and an even better weekend everyone!!!

She has lots of her songs on YouTube. You can see some of DH playing keyboards for her!

Good afternoon!
What a busy morning. I had to go food shopping and then I had a bunch of other errands that really couldn't wait. I'm happy to be home. I am sick and my head is pounding. I'm going to lay down for a little bit and try to get rid of my headache. Just wanted to pop in and say hello first. I didn't really get to chat this morning and I've been thinking about you all. Any form of assault is the worst thing a man can do to his family. I remember my auntie being assaulted by her now former husband and I must say it really brakes your heart to see your beloved ones going through this and suffering enormously. I'm keeping your friend in my thoughts and I honestly do hope he will find inner strength to leave the man for her own sake and her little daughter.

It has been cloudy here today and we got some rain too in late afternoon but that wasn't too bad. Also, it has been the last day of semester today. I can't believe I am almost done with my second year at uni. ('Almost' because I still have exams left in May.) Some of course mates and me decided to grab some coffee and chill at 'Starbucks' after the lectures. Our spring breaks starts now and most of people are going home so we thought it would be nice to sit back and chat for a while. It was very nice. ^^

I hope you all have some nice plans for the weekend. :]
I will probably pop in later in the evening too see you all later.
