I love hearing about it! You really did get educated on them at an early age. That is great!

I loved The 3 Stooges and still do! Does that count? I think of my dad anytime I get a chance to watch them. I also loved watching the Little Rascals, Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy and many more! I might have mentioned this before but I did meet Spanky McFarland. He lived nearby! It was an honor to meet him!

Of course they count!

I'm glad you got to meet Spanky. I saw him and met him briefly at a convention. In fact, I had a photo taken with him. I loved his no-nonsense attitude. Someone asked him if he resented having his life screwed up by being a child star. "I don't think I'm screwed up," he said. "I don't think I was ever screwed up!" If you ever saw his cameo on "Cheers," that's the real Spanky. And as you know, he was a born Texan.

Good morning, everyone! DH, my parents, and I are headed to Lancaster, Pa to Sight and Sound to see the Moses. I am very excited, as this is my very first time to go there. My parents have been there several times before.

My sister and boyfriend are watching the kids and doing thoughts of fun with them today.

I have an uncle that lives in Lancaster, my sister and I visited there a few times in the early 90's. Beautiful place!!! I hope you had fun!!!

Have you ever wondered why some of us love vintage film so much? I've often wondered why some of us are wired that way or what makes some of us just fall in live with vintage film when we see it. You once commented to me that when vintage film lovers meet it's like meeting someone who speaks the same language. I think you're right! I love watching and talking about classic movies and live reading about them too!

With me it started with monster movies. I would check out books from the library about old universal monster films when I was about five and look at the pictures and ask people to help me read them.

Yes, I do wonder! There's a difference between those who like to watch an old movie now and then, and those who are captivated by them and want to know more about them. You'd love to talk to Gloria. She was right there at Universal when they were making some of those movies. She used to go watch Jack Pierce make up Karloff for his movie roles---I have a photo of her with Pierce and Karloff. She loved the scary movies herself when she was a kid!

Today has been the perfect Spring Day! Wayne and I went out to the Arboretum and walked around for a couple of hours. Afterward we went to the lake, had light lunch and rode our bikes. We came home and grilled lots of veggies and hot links. We took the dogs outside to play for awhile. Now we are just chillin and watching a movie, Apollo 13.

The weather has been perfect - 75 degrees! I better enjoy it while I can, summer rolls around it will be a furnace outside!

Good evening,

Slow day at work, 4pm couldn't get here fast enough. That job thing made me miss the Bruins game, but at least they won. cheesy

We have an extra child here tonight, we are watching our friends daughter, so three kids running and screaming was not the way I wanted relax after work. cheesy They all went to sleep right away at bedtime, so it's been nice & quiet for a couple of hours now.

I am looking forward to sleeping in a little bit tomorrow.
