Just wanted to jump in here quickly to say I hope everyone is well and blessed!! Major business changes here for us so I've been swamped... again. LOL

I broke down and watched the Christmas movie from Hallmark I'd been saving. I was trying to make it to June. Yeah... that didn't happen. It was the one with Jennie Garth where she's an exec and gets amnesia while visiting home and re-does her whole life. I really enjoyed it!!! It actually was very relavent to my day, which is why I was down and decided to watch the movie to begin with to cheer myself up. LOL

Thought it funny, was doing Bud's schedule for the week and he's going to be in the Eau Claire, WI area. LOL He spoke at a school there two years ago and now is back in the vicinity.

Miss you guys. Just added the forum as a widget on my phone's screen so I can keep up with messages. LOL

Nice to see you graywolf! Hope things go smooth with your business transitions! Glad you enjoyed the movie! Visit us when you can. Take care!!

I am so sorry about Buster! How old is he? I will say a prayer!

Thanks for the prayer CAH - Buster is 18! :o

Warning! Do not read if you have a weak stomach. Making this light as possible but the focus is not on the gross stuff but about something granddaughter said.

Our day didn't last long at the Arboretum. My granddaughter complained her tummy was hurting so we came home. As soon as we walked in the door everything came up and was going all over the floor. She looked sad and immediately said, "I'm sorry I made a mess in your house". I told her it's not her fault that she could not help it. She is always thoughtful like that and even apologizes for something she couldn't help. It's not like I ever get upset for the messes my grandchildren deliberately make! They can sure be messy at times! =)

We are home and she is laying down. I think we might watch a movie together.

Take care my Christmas friends!

I'll hope & pray your granddaughter is feeling better quick. Poor girl!

I am trying to keep up with everyone's furry family members but I am assuming Buster is a cat? I am so sorry about Buster being sick. It is one of the hardest things to deal with because they cannot tell you what is wrong and even if you get a diagnosis they still can't tell you where it hurts and how they feel. Very frustrating!!! I hope Buster feels better soon!

It's ok ~ we have a lot of furry family members here. Actually Buster is a dog. A very old dog! I'm thinking he probably is not going to improve at this point. But thanks so much for the thoughts & prayers.

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's the final day of March. Tomorrow we will joyously welcome April into our lives. Considering that the weather pattern in Ottawa has us about a month behind, April couldn't come fast enough! Hopefully the new month will bring seasonal tempeartures and rid us of the winter's hands, which has been holding on for far too long!

Today has been an easy day in school. I've had three pretty great classes. Tomorrow will more than likely change. I have a couple classes that can either be good or bad. We'll see how it goes! I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Well, classes are almost over. I'm going to look forward to this drive home. The sun is shining and blue skies are as far as I can see. Enjoy the rest of your Monday, everyone!!

My granddaughter's choice of movie is Snowglobe. She loves that movie and has seen it so many times that she practically has it memorized! She likes to hold one of my Christmas snowglobes while she watches it. She is very gentle with it and loves to shake it every time Angela (in the movie) shakes her snowglobe!

Has anyone here seen it? It's silly and corny but there is a moral to the story and it's a good one! I love that movie!

Gotta go, we are about to watch it. Maybe this is just what my granddaughter needs to feel better. I know Christmas is good medicine! :D

Oh okay! It seems I hear about more cats reaching that age than dogs is why I thought that. Even though he an old dog, it's NEVER EASY when they become ill. If you think there is no improvement we can at least hope that he feels comfort. I am sure he will with all the love in the house!

Good to see you, Brent!

I hope the weather cooperates for you!

Buster is struggling! He is starting to have accidents in the house! :-? He eats so good & he doesn't act like he's in pain, but he is getting weaker - specially his hind end. Makes me so sad! Gracie is CRAZY! Big ball of fluff! Nervous about taking her for her 1st grooming Wednesday! She better not cut off her fluff!!! I'm going to tell her eye & pad trimming ONLY! Hugs for both coming up!

Oh, Holiday, I am so sorry that Buster is struggling ~ the poor little guy. He is in my prayers, as are you. {{{HUGS}}} for both of you.

Good Afternoon MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high near 70!!! Woohoo!!!! I've been trying to get all of my cleaning done this morning so I can't get out there and enjoy the weather some this afternoon. Mom drove herself to work today. I made her drive me up to the gas station and back this morning just to make sure she was okay to do it and she did fine. She was extra cautious so that can't hurt. Well I'm off to finish my cleaning so I can get out there and go for a walk and sit on the porch for awhile. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I'm glad your mom was able to drive herself to work. Enjoy the beautiful weather today!

Aw, I hope your granddaughter is better soon!

what a wonderful sunny day here!
Had a meeting with a bride and groom about their cake, going to be nice!
We went into London today to watch the Muppet's most Wanted movie, loved it!
Now I am home catching up on laundry as my uniform needed cleaning for tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great sleep and talk to you tomorrow!

Glad to hear you had such a great day. I had thought about taking the kids to the theater one of these days to see that movie. We'll see, depending on my days off and what we're doing. Glad to know you guys liked it!

Good afternoon, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone having a good day!

The peepers are out!!!

Trying to get caught up on a few things for the store and a few other things so that I can play hooky tomorrow and hang out with my cousin. It has been months since we have been able to do anything together so there is a lot of catching up to accomplish. If it is nice enough, I hope to go to Frankenmuth and visit the library. A lot of the books I want to read are book 2 in a series so I need to start tracking down the book 1s.

Have a MERRY day!!!

Graywolf- Good to see you!!!! Hope things calm down for you soon!!!

Brent- Glad your classes today were good!! Hope the one's tomorrow are too!!!!

CAH- Hope your granddaughter is feeling better now!!!!!

Snowflake- Hope your day is going well, Buddy!!!!! xx

Meceka- Hope you are having a great day and have fun with your cousin tomorrow!!!

I took a regional dialect quiz a few months ago and it was able to tell me where I lived right down to the closest big town. It was pretty amazing.

NY Times Dialect quiz

Give it a try.

I tried it and got least similar. I've always never agreed with half the stuff we say here in my area or how we talk!

Good evening, everyone!

Just stopping in for a quick hello. Kim and I have been busy preparing for our move. We officially get the keys on Tuesday. I think we'll spend a couple hours that night moving in a few things that we can just put right into storage... When I see a few things, of course, I mean Christmas decorations. Obviously, we're already quite excited to decorate the new place. I don't know how I am going to resist covering the apartment with Christmas for 7.5 months. I'm sure decorations will be a topic of conversation at least twice a week until then!

I hope you are all ready for another work week. I am booked for teaching from Monday until Wednesday. Hopefully I get a call for Thursday and Friday within the next couple days, too. I like the work, and I need the money!

Enjoy the final day of March tomorrow. Hopefully you're enjoying Spring. In Ottawa, we're still waiting.... Soon enough, though. Soon enough!

Enjoy the new apartment and good luck with the move!

Holy cow, we went to Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park back in '91. The thing I always remember my cousin saying about Hershey, PA is that the good days it smells like chocolate, the bad days it smells like sewage. cheesy

I guess I went on a good day way back when.

They still have plants all over Pa. My favorite part when you go to Hershey, is touring "Chocolate World". If you've never done that and you guys go back, you'll have to do it someday. It actually smells like chocolate. I would love to go again at Christmas someday. The whole park is decorated and they have a huge light display to drive through.

Good evening,

We spent the day at my in laws celebrating my MIL's birthday, it was a good meal and a fun time. My FIL is a big Bruins fan also, so we enjoyed the Bruins exciting shootout win. Back to work tomorrow, hopefully it will be a quick day since I have Tuesday off.

I am still quite tired from such a busy week last week, so I am glad I made it in here before 11pm.

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Good night, everyone.

Happy Birthday to your MIL! Hoping work went well today for you. Enjoy your day off tomorrow!
