Just wanted to jump in here quickly to say I hope everyone is well and blessed!! Major business changes here for us so I've been swamped... again. LOL

I broke down and watched the Christmas movie from Hallmark I'd been saving. I was trying to make it to June. Yeah... that didn't happen. It was the one with Jennie Garth where she's an exec and gets amnesia while visiting home and re-does her whole life. I really enjoyed it!!! It actually was very relavent to my day, which is why I was down and decided to watch the movie to begin with to cheer myself up. LOL

Thought it funny, was doing Bud's schedule for the week and he's going to be in the Eau Claire, WI area. LOL He spoke at a school there two years ago and now is back in the vicinity.

Miss you guys. Just added the forum as a widget on my phone's screen so I can keep up with messages. LOL

Merry Monday! Here we go again, another week! I had a lovely weekend and Mother's Day , thank you for all the well wishes.

We are having beautiful dry , mild weather at the moment. It is set to change by end of week but I am happy to have a few days break from the cold and wet. Yesterday we went to a huge park. It was great. There is a boating lake , petting farm and beautiful nature trails. We even fed the squirrels. They are so tame that they take the food straight out of your hands. The kids had a ball.

I have quickly skimmed the posts and it look like everyone had a nice weekend, I'm glad! Have a great start to the week everyone!

Just HAD to share this with you all. My MIL shared it with us, and this 9-year-old girl from Holland is amazing. Her first album is being released soon (it's already available in some countries overseas).

She's almost as good as Gloria was when she was a child, and that's saying something!

A child who's so considerate of others at that age will grow to be a kindly woman and will be much loved. Very special!

Warning! Do not read if you have a weak stomach. Making this light as possible but the focus is not on the gross stuff but about something granddaughter said.

Our day didn't last long at the Arboretum. My granddaughter complained her tummy was hurting so we came home. As soon as we walked in the door everything came up and was going all over the floor. She looked sad and immediately said, "I'm sorry I made a mess in your house". I told her it's not her fault that she could not help it. She is always thoughtful like that and even apologizes for something she couldn't help. It's not like I ever get upset for the messes my grandchildren deliberately make! They can sure be messy at times! =)

We are home and she is laying down. I think we might watch a movie together.

After Jones, now Kandice has caught the cough....I just hope that she won´t develop a bronchitis....I will just let drink lots of juices and Ginger Ale and hope she will get healthy without getting tooooo sick.........Right now she is watching Disney Channel.....quack pack is on.....we might watch some Lord Of The Rings or Harry Potter later on (she has a thing for those fantasy monster and does not get scared by em)....lol......if not that.....an Christmas movie

The Arboretum has Mommy and Me Day today so I will be taking my granddaughter out there. I am sure grandma is allowed to take her, Lol! They have activities and a petting zoo. I am packing a lunch for us to have a picnic out there. We sure our getting our money's worth with our membership and we are only 1 week into it! We have been 5 days in the past 8 days since we joined.

I had planned to come on here and catch up where I left off but you all were really busy yesterday so I don't see that happening! If anyone had replied to me with any questions and I didn't reply back just send me a private message!

Sounds like such a lovely day! Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves!

Good Morning, Folks.

Wow.
LAST day of March.

I hate to say good riddance, but we really did not have a particularly great March weather-wise.
We had cold temps and a hard wind yesterday and it felt like January.
Looking forward to nicer conditions for April but today has started out at a still-too-chilly-for-the-last-day-of-March 42 degrees here.


The count numbers:
Days to the Season: 227
Days to Christmas Day: 269

And one will quickly note that we are now down under 4 weeks away from the 200-day Season Window.
A day less than that and we arrive at the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
Fantastic!

Good morning!
It's snowing! Big gorgeous fluffy snowflakes. And it's sticking. I had no idea it was going to snow this morning. Looks like March is going out like a lion!
Typical day for me, lots of chores to do around the house. My errands can wait until the snow stops. I already started a pot of chicken soup for dinner and it's starting to smell good in here. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's the final day of March. Tomorrow we will joyously welcome April into our lives. Considering that the weather pattern in Ottawa has us about a month behind, April couldn't come fast enough! Hopefully the new month will bring seasonal tempeartures and rid us of the winter's hands, which has been holding on for far too long!

Today has been an easy day in school. I've had three pretty great classes. Tomorrow will more than likely change. I have a couple classes that can either be good or bad. We'll see how it goes! I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Well, classes are almost over. I'm going to look forward to this drive home. The sun is shining and blue skies are as far as I can see. Enjoy the rest of your Monday, everyone!!

Buster is struggling! He is starting to have accidents in the house! :-? He eats so good & he doesn't act like he's in pain, but he is getting weaker - specially his hind end. Makes me so sad! :sad: Gracie is CRAZY! Big ball of fluff! Nervous about taking her for her 1st grooming Wednesday! She better not cut off her fluff!!! I'm going to tell her eye & pad trimming ONLY! Hugs for both coming up!

Prayers for you and Buster, hugs going all around!

Trying to get caught up on a few things for the store and a few other things so that I can play hooky tomorrow and hang out with my cousin. It has been months since we have been able to do anything together so there is a lot of catching up to accomplish. If it is nice enough, I hope to go to Frankenmuth and visit the library. A lot of the books I want to read are book 2 in a series so I need to start tracking down the book 1s.

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! Now that we are back to work, the weather decides to warm up & give us a gorgeous day!!! Go figure!
Hope you all had a great weekend. Friday I brought Gracie out to the lake to introduce her to the trailer/lake area - she was terrified of the honking geese! :lol: Friday night I worked at the American Legion fish fry - we went through 320 lbs. of fish & 72 lbs of shrimp! BUSY! Saturday it snowed all day - we had a 50th wedding anniversary! Sunday went to a community development dinner/guest speaker. The weather was much nicer/sunny on Sunday but still chilly with the darn wind!
Looking forward to the Reds opening day game at 4:10! Hoping to peel myself away from the game on tv to get a good walk in - it's going to be tooo nice outside to be inside! Lol!

Good Afternoon MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high near 70!!! Woohoo!!!! I've been trying to get all of my cleaning done this morning so I can't get out there and enjoy the weather some this afternoon. Mom drove herself to work today. I made her drive me up to the gas station and back this morning just to make sure she was okay to do it and she did fine. She was extra cautious so that can't hurt. Well I'm off to finish my cleaning so I can get out there and go for a walk and sit on the porch for awhile. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
