Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good afternoon, MMC!

Sunny day here, but chilly. I got a walk in before lunch and now I have a lot of work to do. I read all the posts, but no time to reply individually. Praying for a safe and MERRY day for all of you!

Happy Pines Day, too ~ I almost forgot it was Wednesday. Where has the week gone? :sparkle:

The weeks are just flying by aren't they?? I don't know how we can be in April already! I hope you got through all your work.

hey there....fired up the bbq the first time in our backyard...just Kandice and I...lol...but the sick little camper wanted to have steaks....so Momma obeyed......I have a monster migraine that will only go away tonight when I am sleeping.....so I am chilling a bit on the net and watching Law n Order SVU....while Kandice is sipping on pineapple juice and playing with her barbie dolls

Sounds like such a nice evening. I'm glad Kandice is feeling better. Hope your migraine is gone today , I hate headaches!

I know they have done at least two cd sets. I have one of them & enjoy it very much!

Not wanting to wish my life away, but I'm ready to go camping! We are going for two nights on Easter weekend. We're staying close to home so we can get back for the egg hunt on Saturday morning. I just want to get away for a little while!

DD is on spring break this week, so we went to Dollywood with my mom on Monday. She is staying with grandparents during the day the rest of the week so DH & I can work. We're having highs in the 70's & 80's this week. DD is in shorts & I'm so glad we're not having to wear coats anymore!

I hope everyone has a great day. For those who need rest, I hope we get it. I'm tired, with no end to the day in sight!

I understand your need for a break away somewhere. Enjoy planning for your trip till then. I am also exhausted these days, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!

Good evening MMC and Happy Pines Day! I'm all caught up on the posts, so I'm going to be heading to bed now for a nap before work. I'm off tomorrow and looking forward to it.

Good evening!
I'm getting ready to sit down and relax for a little while. I'm exhausted tonight, I hope I'll be able to stay awake for American Idol. I'm having a problem with my laptop, I'm not sure what happened. I'm hoping its something my husband can fix, I'm going to go crazy without it. He'll take a look at it later, he's working on the kitchen cabinets some more this evening. He's been working so hard, I'm sure he wants this project to be finished as much as I do.
My daughter hit a pot hole on her way to work and ended up with a flat tire. My husband met her at the outlets and put a spare tire on. The crews are really struggling to patch up these roads. I pushed myself to go on the treadmill again, I walked for 45 minutes. I still hate it. I might go for a walk outside tomorrow, depending on the weather. Not too much else going on here, I'll be popping back in before the end of the night. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their evening!

Well done for working out today! You have inspired me to resume my workouts on the cross trainer as soon as my neck is better. Fingers crossed your kitchen will be done soon. Hope you had a restful night.

It was one of those nights, I was constantly busy working, but I feel like I didn't accomplish anything. I hate that feeling.

LC won't be going to school again tomorrow, he still had a fever of 102* my wife will be home with him tomorrow. Someone in our house has been sick almost everyday since the New Year. We just can't seem to get healthy around here, I have been the healthiest for my longest stretch so far this year. It is always something.

Watching my Bruins now, as I wind down for the night.

Finished writing chapter 2 of the fiction last night. I guess it will be quite a challenge to translate all the writing into English. ^^

Merry Morning Christmas family!

I had a pretty quiet evening last night with a glass of wine and the pilot episode of New Worlds. It is set in Massachusetts, New England and I thought of you both Xmas and MerryCarey

I wish I could say my neck pain is gone but it isn't. Pain killers aren't doing much. I might try a different type, I don't really like taking meds

it is dull and chilly this morning. I think we may get a couple light showers later. That is actually a good thing as we have sand drifting over from sandstorms in the Sahara. It is havoc on allergies not to mention coatings of red sand everywhere LOL. It's not been to bad around here though.

I am listening to the Rolling Stones and hoping for a spark of inspiration to begin some work on a project. I hope you all have a pleasant day and get through all that you need to. See you all later!

Days to the Season: 224
Days to Christmas Day: 266

Now under 3 1/2 weeks off from the 200-day Season Window and just 23 days from now, 1/3 of our journey back to Christmas Day will be complete.
(Does it ever feel like time is just getting away from you?)

Warm weather is definitely here and we have quickly risen into the mid 80's.
(Seems it's quite common around here to jump straight from winter into summer. Our spring season is short.)
But on the positive side, we won't be getting the humidity for a while yet.
Our morning here in NC has begun at 54 degrees under clear skies.

We've had storms most of the night and it looks like it will keep up for most of the day. So I think it's safe to say that I will be staying home and getting some stuff done around the apartment.
