Merry Morning Christmas family!

I had a pretty quiet evening last night with a glass of wine and the pilot episode of New Worlds. It is set in Massachusetts, New England and I thought of you both Xmas and MerryCarey

I wish I could say my neck pain is gone but it isn't. Pain killers aren't doing much. I might try a different type, I don't really like taking meds

it is dull and chilly this morning. I think we may get a couple light showers later. That is actually a good thing as we have sand drifting over from sandstorms in the Sahara. It is havoc on allergies not to mention coatings of red sand everywhere LOL. It's not been to bad around here though.

I am listening to the Rolling Stones and hoping for a spark of inspiration to begin some work on a project. I hope you all have a pleasant day and get through all that you need to. See you all later!

And we are also moving in in TWO more Milestones, coming our way this month!

Days to the Season: 224
Days to Christmas Day: 266

Now under 3 1/2 weeks off from the 200-day Season Window and just 23 days from now, 1/3 of our journey back to Christmas Day will be complete.
(Does it ever feel like time is just getting away from you?)

Warm weather is definitely here and we have quickly risen into the mid 80's.
(Seems it's quite common around here to jump straight from winter into summer. Our spring season is short.)
But on the positive side, we won't be getting the humidity for a while yet.
Our morning here in NC has begun at 54 degrees under clear skies.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It sounds like my apartment as at the bottom of a waterfall. It is just pouring out there!!! We've had storms most of the night and it looks like it will keep up for most of the day. So I think it's safe to say that I will be staying home and getting some stuff done around the apartment. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

We're getting the same weather as you. Jim looked like a drowned rat when he came in from taking Gracie out this morning. :lol: Hope you can stay home & get some stuff done & enjoy being warm & dry inside!!!

It's a beautiful day here today, but I'm thinking of those of you getting snow, ice, sleet, and heavy rain---I hope that doesn't last long and goes away quickly. I hope I can get out for a walk-around after lunch! I missed it yesterday because we were so busy at the office.

Well, the trip to the dentist wasn't too bad. Doc went easy on me, and I never felt anything after the first shot. Whew!

I still have that hugs stack of files on my desk. It's funny; they're still here every morning when I get to work. What's the deal with that, anyway? :-?

Count me in! I was going to get on my treadmill yesterday but couldn't find the "key" thing that starts it and then got distracted into doing something else. Poor excuse, I know! I kind of just gave up! Ha ha! I don't care for the treadmill but didn't get an opportunity to go outside yesterday and walk.

Good morning MMC! It is rainy & quite icky in Ohio today! "Fill that lake up" Speaking of lake - the water is supposed to be turned on at our landing today. Hubby was out there last night & replaced the water hook-up to our trailer. It was leaking bad last year. The marina owner should really take care of that, but he wasn't doing it, so anyway - it's done now! : -)

Not much up for today except working & watching it rain. Good thing I got a 5 3/4 mile walk in last night cuz it doesn't look like I'll be going outside to walk today! : -( And so much for grilling out tonight! I'll have to come up with something for supper. Hmmmm

This morning was test "How much do you really like having a puppy in the spring?" - it was miserable taking both dogs out - everyone & every dog was SOAKED! Lol! And speaking of dogs...here's MORE pictures of Gracie after her grooming.

Groomer said she had to take more off her face than she wanted b/c Gracie jerked when a dog barked. I really didn't want that much taken off her face, but it's ok! She just looks so different to me! I think she was mad at me last night cuz I kept laughing at her! Lol! Poor girl!

I love it, so much fun! Amazing just how many planes are flying around everyday! No wonder those flight controllers have stress.

I have been asking Siri "What planes are above me" ~ it's crazy! I agree - amazing there aren't more mid air collisions!

Our exercise equip is in the basement too. Even though our basement is fixed up, I just don't feel like going down there to exercise. Lol! (another excuse of mine)

LOL! I'm good at excuses!!! Enjoy your walk outside! Today I am going to have to walk on the treadmill or do a Leslie dvd, or one of my new walking dvd's from LTD. UGH (this is when excuses come in - I can always find something else that "needs" to be done!) :smile:
