Merry Morning Christmas family!

I had a pretty quiet evening last night with a glass of wine and the pilot episode of New Worlds. It is set in Massachusetts, New England and I thought of you both Xmas and MerryCarey

I wish I could say my neck pain is gone but it isn't. Pain killers aren't doing much. I might try a different type, I don't really like taking meds

it is dull and chilly this morning. I think we may get a couple light showers later. That is actually a good thing as we have sand drifting over from sandstorms in the Sahara. It is havoc on allergies not to mention coatings of red sand everywhere LOL. It's not been to bad around here though.

I am listening to the Rolling Stones and hoping for a spark of inspiration to begin some work on a project. I hope you all have a pleasant day and get through all that you need to. See you all later!

Days off are the best! It was so good I didn't even stop in and say hi yesterday, which I never do! I had such a good day with the kids and my family though!

A rare day off in Ottawa. Well, if you don't include those weekends!

Good afternoon my favourite friends!

I was originally scheduled to teach today, but I was told yesterday that the school needed to use on calls instead to save some money. I was really looking forward to substituting at the same school all week! Oh well, at least they need me tomorrow and Monday!

With this day "off," I still remain quite busy. I've already brought a bunch of stuff over to the new apartment. Kim is planning to paint there tonight and tomorrow. I am making small trips throughout today and bringing some of the lesser items we own. The heavy stuff will wait until next Friday, our final move day, when a bunch of my friends have agreed to help us bring the couches, beds, dressers, desks, etc. Exciting times!

I don't have much time on here, however. I have to head back to our place and clean out the back storage area. There are a lot of useless items are boxes left behind. Less work for others means more work for me, I guess!

At least it's a beautiful day in Ottawa. The sun is shining and temperatures are hovering around the freezing mark. It still feels quite warm! My break is over. Back to moving!

I love the feel of a fresh start and a new place but I hate the actual moving process. I hope it all goes smoothly and you and Kim can settle in soon.

I feel so tired today then I feel guilt just sitting here doing nothing. I have done some chores today and have more to do but it's nothing urgent. So why do I always feel guilty for just having a "lazy day"?! Wayne always tells me it's okay to do NOTHING!!! He says when I am tired I need rest! But here I am "beating myself up" and trying to convince myself to get up and go!

Well, I guess I have had full force energy all week, my granddaughter just got picked up so I guess I should just relax and enjoy! Right? =)

You deserve a break and some down time, it's healthy. I do know exactly how you feel though. I often find something to do if I get a spare moment. I don't know how to just do nothing LOL. Funny enough it was one of the things I promised to do this year - relax more.

Haha, it seems so. However, you never know how long this kind of inspiration is gonna last so I try to use up it all. ^^

Good evening everyone! Hope your day went well. :] I've started reading 'A Walk to Remember' by Nicholas Sparks today and oh boy, I am so into it! It doesn't happen very often though so I can barely think about anything else rather than the book. I will probably finish it tomorrow but for now, I am off to continue reading. ^^

I love when a book grips hold of me like that. Enjoy your novel. It is quite a story!

Jones has to stay in the hospital....seems to be an agressive form of bronchitis or something.... ....please pray for him

It was another great day at my new job! I am loving it. Like any new job, it can be overwhelming at times, but I am so excited about being there- it's refreshing!! Dr. Tim is wonderful, and so are the patients! And he's already helping me with my back and neck issues, too.

We are having freezing rain again, it's pretty nasty out there. The winds have picked up, too. They have reduced the accumulation to 6-8 inches, but have added more freezing rain & whiteout conditions for the commute. I better leave extra early.

Do any of you have any special weekend plans?

I plan to meet my sister for lunch, and to catch up. Hopefully the weather doesn't ruin that. We meet halfway in between us, so it is a bit of a drive. Sometimes the plows don't hit the two lane highways very quickly..

Better go fold some work clothes so I have some for tomorrow!

I am delighted to hear that all is going well with the new job. I didn't realise you experience problems with your back and neck. It is wonderful that Dr. Tim can help you with that. Have a great time with your sis this weekend. The place you a re going to sounds so amazing, I love old places like that. Stay safe in the horrible weather, I hope it lets up soon.

David Letterman is retiring in 2015 so this year will probably be Darlene Love's last time performing on the Late Show.

It was a long day today, LC is seemingly feeling better. He was bored and begging to go back to school halfway through the day.
I am feeling a little under the weather tonight, hopefully it is just from being tired. I made sure to get here early so I can go right to bed after the Bruins game.

Well, the trip to the dentist wasn't too bad. Doc went easy on me, and I never felt anything after the first shot. Whew!

I still have that hugs stack of files on my desk. It's funny; they're still here every morning when I get to work. What's the deal with that, anyway? :-?

Good morning MMC! It is rainy & quite icky in Ohio today! "Fill that lake up" Speaking of lake - the water is supposed to be turned on at our landing today. Hubby was out there last night & replaced the water hook-up to our trailer. It was leaking bad last year. The marina owner should really take care of that, but he wasn't doing it, so anyway - it's done now! : -)

Not much up for today except working & watching it rain. Good thing I got a 5 3/4 mile walk in last night cuz it doesn't look like I'll be going outside to walk today! : -( And so much for grilling out tonight! I'll have to come up with something for supper. Hmmmm

This morning was test "How much do you really like having a puppy in the spring?" - it was miserable taking both dogs out - everyone & every dog was SOAKED! Lol! And speaking of dogs...here's MORE pictures of Gracie after her grooming.

Groomer said she had to take more off her face than she wanted b/c Gracie jerked when a dog barked. I really didn't want that much taken off her face, but it's ok! She just looks so different to me! I think she was mad at me last night cuz I kept laughing at her! Lol! Poor girl!
