It was a long day today, LC is seemingly feeling better. He was bored and begging to go back to school halfway through the day.

I am feeling a little under the weather tonight, hopefully it is just from being tired. I made sure to get here early so I can go right to bed after the Bruins game.

Lots of moving and painting done today. We had a bunch of unexpected visitors, too! Initially, Kim and I had planned to hold off from apartment showings until next Friday when we are moving everything in, but some friends wanted to come see the new place. Thankfully, everyone was very impressed with the new apartment. They really liked the size and character. Perhaps I will have to post some pictures once all our furniture is in there.



Well, it's time for bed. I have to work in the morning. Have a great night, everyone!

Hearing that you love your job is amazing. Not sure about you but people in my environment always complain about how much they hate their jobs. So seeing someone actually loving it is such a rare thing to me. I'm honestly happy for you that you don't see your job as a torture. :]

Thinking of you all, and sending prayers to our special friends who need them~

It was another great day at my new job! I am loving it. Like any new job, it can be overwhelming at times, but I am so excited about being there- it's refreshing!! Dr. Tim is wonderful, and so are the patients! And he's already helping me with my back and neck issues, too.

We are having freezing rain again, it's pretty nasty out there. The winds have picked up, too. They have reduced the accumulation to 6-8 inches, but have added more freezing rain & whiteout conditions for the commute. I better leave extra early.

Do any of you have any special weekend plans?

I plan to meet my sister for lunch, and to catch up. Hopefully the weather doesn't ruin that. We meet halfway in between us, so it is a bit of a drive. Sometimes the plows don't hit the two lane highways very quickly..

Better go fold some work clothes so I have some for tomorrow!

We have a wedding tomorrow - our neighbors daughter. And since the water is on at the lake, we will probably go start getting stuff ready out there...even though we will probably have to take a boat to get to our trailer. LOL! Have a good day!

I actually just made plans to meet a friend for lunch on Sunday. We were supposed to get together a few weeks ago but I had to cancel because of the weather. We finally rescheduled!

back from work again, very busy evening shift at Subway. Boss there wants me back full time, I said no thankyou. It is just too much for me, I cannot keep up that kind of pace every day. Besides, I love working at the grocery store, much easier on me physically plus I get benefits there. Working these two places is perfect for me right now. I can work where I like and two days a week work where I get a workout!

It sounds like you are exactly where you should be right now then! :smile:

I just heard the ice cream man. It's after 9:00 and it's 40 degrees out there. I wonder if he's getting any business.

I'm looking forward to going on Sunday, we are long overdue for a visit. We met on our first day of high school and have kept in touch all these years. We will be meeting in the middle as well, at an Applebee's. I can only go to places that can offer something gluten free and I know I'll have a couple of things to choose from there. The drive in that you're going to sounds wonderful, I would just love an old fashioned place like that. An early Happy Birthday to your sister, have fun celebrating!
I feel good, I'm all better now. Thank you for asking! Maggie's cough has unfortunately flared up over the past couple of days. The poor thing. I spoke with her doctor last night and I have increased one of her medicines, hopefully that will help. It's incredibly frustrating!

I am SO PROUD of my daughter. She is an employee of MORE which serves disabled adults. Here is a news video that showed on her area's TV channel. She is the computer instructor. I love how they call the people who use the facilities as "clients." That word alone is so empowering. Let me know what you think!
