The weather was a bit rough in our area last night with tornadoes and hail. It was all around us but directly where I was at we were safe!

I haven't had a chance to check on any of the post but hope everyone is doing well!

Hi everyone....Bad News, Jones has to stay in the clinic at least until Monday.....Good News is, the x rays of his lungs were clear and the blood was ok as well....He just didnt get a regular Cold treated and that is the result...the whole system is overreacting like it dös with allergies

Sorry Jones has to stay through the weekend but I am happy that he is doing well.

I am SO PROUD of my daughter. She is an employee of MORE which serves disabled adults. Here is a news video that showed on her area's TV channel. She is the computer instructor. I love how they call the people who use the facilities as "clients." That word alone is so empowering. Let me know what you think!

Good morning! Happy Friday! I thought for sure I was going to get through all the posts this morning, but work has kept me busy! (like they pay me to WORK??) Lol! This afternoon I have to go to the bank to sign my life away (loan for our remodel project) UGH! Then a big trip to Walmart. We need things at home & I'll restock at the trailer! Sounds like an expensive trip all the way around! My friend asked me to work at the fish fry again, but I'm not sure I'll be back in time. We'll see! Tomorrow we have the neighbor girls wedding. She will be such a beautiful bride! Sunday I'm hoping to get to the lake to get things cleaned & set up for the summer! Also going to Ben Franklin spring open house - 20% off everything! That's about it!

I've learned to live my with my back/neck problems, so I never really say much about them. Kind of silly to accept pain like that, but just blamed it on work, and sitting in front of a computer a lot there & at home. I was a few degrees away from scoliosis as a child, so that's part of the problem. Plus, I had an injury from falling on the ice when I was in my early twenties. Hurt my shoulder, too. So, I'm all jacked up! But, with regular adjustments, I am getting relief.

Thanks for thinking of me! The snow hasn't let up at all, yesterday 90% of our snow had melted. Now, it's all back! Grr! LOL :grin:

The snow is still coming down! So pretty, yet so annoying in April! :lol:

I snapped a pic of snow in the trees earlier. Magical!

Work went really well today, I learned a lot of new procedures, and financial things I'll be covering. Dr. Tim said some really complimentary things, that made me even more enthused! Bonus, Fridays are morning appointments only, so once the patients are done, and my work is complete, I can head home. Today was really early because we had a lot of weather-related cancellations. I was home by 11:30 am. Not bad at all.

So, I'm kicking the weekend off early! TGIF!!

My, is it ever windy out there! I have the furnace on 68 and am just now starting to feel comfortable. Staying in tonight as I have to work tomorrow and I have a lot of errands to run, too. It is going to make for a very long day!

Merry Saturday! I love Saturdays! I'll be going into work tomorrow so spending the day with the family today.

It is Grand National day here, a traditional horse racing event that we look forward to every year. It's a pretty big event here and everyone gets involved even if you're not usually into horse racing.

Everyone in the house picks a horse to win. The children usually make a poster to include all our horses chosen. We have a big picnic and watch the race in the afternoon and it gets pretty boisterous (and competitive) in the house as we cheer our horse to win. Some years we have won and some we haven't. I'll let you all know which horses we pick later. The names are always so creative! Wish us luck today!

Hope the weekend is filled with all your favourite things!

It was a tad cooler yesterday than the day before but that's good as it was almost getting too warm.
Now, today promises to be down in the 60's for highs but that's good for traveling and we will be leaving for a brief trip to the mountains momentarily.
For now, our thermometer reads 61 degrees here in the capital city.

It really is something I've become used. But it is nice to get chiropractic care often & not have to worry about the financial aspect.

Hello! Good morning to one and all! I'm here still (well in spirit), as much as I posted before how many hours I have been working, well, it has gotten worse. I am working a minimum 80 hours a week, Yes that is correct, a minimum of 80 hours a week.... I feel like I'm dying from the inside out because I feel mentally and physically thin, like butter spread upon a piece of toast...
I have as much, thought of you guys and being here, but that's all I could have done. We have 3 engineering projects that are going out the door on the 9th for bids (an elementary school in Maryland, a private specialty needs school in Delaware and a big time renovation to the McCormick foods and spice main office.) After I'm wrapped up with them, they have already given me another project to start working on, I'm exhausted...It's good to be busy and to make the extra dough, but this is way too much for me. I need a vacation!

I'm thinking of you all and miss you all......:hi:

Thank you my friend, it's so nice to see you as well...I miss being here as well! I hope everything is going fine with you. I'm finishing my coffee now and getting ready to head out the door. I won't be back home until sometime late tonight...sighhhhh! I feel like I need a forklift to help get me off of this couch and to get motivated, lol...

Hopefully, after the 9th , I can sleep and also get a chance to be here more often....
