Good morning!
It is going to be cloudy today with temperatures in the lower 50's. I need to get moving soon. I have to go food shopping and I probably should have been there already, its going to be crowded now. I'm still having problems with my laptop and its making me crazy. My husband needs to look at it again, he's just been so busy. Anyway, typical day of errands and chores. I'm also heading to the mall this afternoon with my youngest, she needs to pick up a few things. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Good morning! Long night, worked until around 2:30 and then Little Princess wakes up at 4:00 for her feeding and doesn't go back to sleep until 5:00. That's ok....we still had a good time. She just laid there and looked at me. I could have put her down, but what fun is that?

going to prepare for the work week today and watch a little baseball, so I'm looking forward to it. Y'all have a good one!

Wayne and I went for about an hour walk at the Arboretum this morning. Here are a few pictures we took.

The first picture are 2 peacocks, in the distance, made with greenery and the tail feathers will be in full color after all the flowers bloom. We will try to get back and get more pictures when they do!

Merry Saturday! I love Saturdays! I'll be going into work tomorrow so spending the day with the family today.

It is Grand National day here, a traditional horse racing event that we look forward to every year. It's a pretty big event here and everyone gets involved even if you're not usually into horse racing.

Everyone in the house picks a horse to win. The children usually make a poster to include all our horses chosen. We have a big picnic and watch the race in the afternoon and it gets pretty boisterous (and competitive) in the house as we cheer our horse to win. Some years we have won and some we haven't. I'll let you all know which horses we pick later. The names are always so creative! Wish us luck today!

Good Morning, Weekend Lovers and Respite Revelers.

Days to Christmas Day: 264

Three weeks from today will see us to the 1/3 point to Christmas Day.
Add one day to that and the 200-day Season Window will open upon a magnificent count landscape populated by 100's level numbers.
Wow!


It was a tad cooler yesterday than the day before but that's good as it was almost getting too warm.
Now, today promises to be down in the 60's for highs but that's good for traveling and we will be leaving for a brief trip to the mountains momentarily.
For now, our thermometer reads 61 degrees here in the capital city.

Hello! Good morning to one and all! I'm here still (well in spirit), as much as I posted before how many hours I have been working, well, it has gotten worse. I am working a minimum 80 hours a week, Yes that is correct, a minimum of 80 hours a week.... I feel like I'm dying from the inside out because I feel mentally and physically thin, like butter spread upon a piece of toast...
I have as much, thought of you guys and being here, but that's all I could have done. We have 3 engineering projects that are going out the door on the 9th for bids (an elementary school in Maryland, a private specialty needs school in Delaware and a big time renovation to the McCormick foods and spice main office.) After I'm wrapped up with them, they have already given me another project to start working on, I'm exhausted...It's good to be busy and to make the extra dough, but this is way too much for me. I need a vacation!

I'm thinking of you all and miss you all......:hi:

It's so good to see you! You're so right though...that is just too much work. I worry about you guys! We miss you too! Take care!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It looks like it is going to be a nice weekend with high's in the mid 50's. Just about perfect if you ask me. I have a few errands to run this morning and then it will be back home to just relax hopefully for a while. Then tonight we may go out for my BIL's birthday. It just kinda depends when my sister gets back from the training event she had to go to for the girl scouts. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
