Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's overcast, and it's supposed to rain most of the day, but the rest of the week is supposed to be sunny and 80°f...nice!

Tonight is the final meeting about the fire department, and it sounds like all the citizens are planning to come out to voice their opinions. That's a good thing! I'll be glad to have this behind me.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be raining here today to with a high in the mid 50's. Then they are showing 70's by the end of the week. Boo!!! That's starting to get to warm for me. I want it to stay in the 60's!! LOL!!! Not much planned for here today. The Nascar race was rained out yesterday so it's going to run at noon today. So that's what most of my afternoon will be spent watching. So I should probably get in gear and get some stuff done before then. I'm not real motivated though. The Australians need to stop having their press conference's about the missing plane in the middle of the night here and keeping me up. LOL!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good Morning, Each and Every Appreciator of the greatest Day and Season of the year!

Back in the saddle this morning and back to the numbers:
Days to the Season: 220
Days to Christmas Day: 262

And as the discerning will detect, we are now UNDER 3 weeks away from the grand opening of that Window - that 200-day Season Window - which will reveal the first of our 100's-level count figures.
But the day before that -- just 19 days away -- will see us to the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
Fantastic!

Well, we were up in the mountains Saturday and Sunday morning and it was like going back into winter. Snow was on the ground and the temps were in the 30's.
Upon our return "down below", the thermometer quickly climbed into the mid 50's.
For today and tomorrow, rain is predicted here and is lightly falling as I type this.
We are at a chilly 48 degrees.

I can't stop watching the coverage on the missing plane. I've had CNN on for the past month, my family can't take it anymore.

Good morning!
We are expecting rain today and the temperatures won't get out of the 40's. It's chilly out there right now, we're still in the mid 30's. I wanted to go for a walk outside but it doesn't look like that will happen. I guess I'll have to go on the treadmill for a little bit. Typical Monday for me, I have plenty of chores to get started on. I also need to make a trip to Target for a few things. I'm still having trouble with my laptop. My husband thought it was fixed last night but its acting up again this morning. It's frustrating but I'm sure he'll figure it out, he usually does. At least I can keep up here from my cell phone!

Five years?

Five years?

Wow. Where has time gone? It is amazing to look back mad see all the changes that have taken place. It seems like a few weeks ago! In five more years, Lil Bambina will be in school!

It has been a great five years though, hasn't it! The friends we have made has been amazing. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hello all. I've been away for far too long! Its been a crazy week. A lot of overtime being worked!
Well, my wife is watching the country music awards and my son is watching Wrestelmania. I'm going back and forth between the rooms, trying to spend time with both of them.
My wife's grandpa has taken a turn for the worst, and it looks like he does not have much time left. The family has gathered around him this weekend, and I know we'll be back there this week.
Hopefully I'll be on MMC more this week. I hope you all have a great week and I hope you all are doing well!

Hello all. I just saw Luke Bryan hosting the country music awards. I bet I know what Sugar is watching tonight!

You're right! I did watch about an hour of it, then gave up because my kids came home late with DH and wanted to watch a half an hour of TV and I fell asleep (BOO me!), so by the time he woke me back up, it was almost over. I did DVR it though, so I am watching it now!

one time when my kids were driving me nuts I went around the house and turned every clock ahead one hour, told them it was bed time. They argued a bit, but hey, clocks dont lie right??? :-o
So I ended up with a nice quiet evening an hour early!!

That is such a great idea! I will have to remember that one.

I have been struggling to catch up on here so starting fresh today (I hope!) I have been busy busy but it's a good thing!

Yesterday we went to church and then I headed off to work afterward. By the time I got home I was wiped out! I didn't even have the energy to check in.

We sure did get a lot of rain yesterday and expecting some more this afternoon. We sure do need it but I feel sorry for the NASCAR fans. At least they will run the race today. I told Wayne he should call in and we can head out to the track. There are still tickets available! I don't see that happening but it's an idea! =) I have not been to Texas Motor Speedway to see a race in several years.
