Merry Morning Christmas my dear friends!

The rain continues today. You should have seen how heavy it was yesterday, like multiple taps were turned on from the sky. My garden was actually filled with water after just minutes!

I guess we are stuck in again today, I better find something to entertain the kids with

It's my mum's birthday today so I am waiting anxiously to give her call. Due to the time difference she will still be asleep. I feel a bit homesick today but nevermind.

I hope you all have a pleasant, easy going day!!

I'm heading to bed so I can get at least 5 hours sleep before I work a scheduled triple or overnighter tomorrow. I did get a chance to read just of a few of the posts; first time in 6 weeks...Most likely, I won't have another chance to get on here again, until Wednesday or Thursday sometime...

Good morning!
Heavy rain here this morning, I'm even hearing rumbles of thunder now. I really hope it lets up. The dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. Their groomer is moving out of state and today is the last time we will see her. I'm sad to see her go, she is a sweetheart. I bought her a really nice card and put a picture Molly & Maggie in there. I want to thank her for always taking such good care of them. I hate goodbyes!
Anyway, I also need to run to the supermarket for a few things. Then back home to do chores.

Maggie's still coughing. We increased her medicine and I still don't see any improvement. I'm actually going to call her doctor again today. I feel bad for calling so much but I am determined to get to the bottom of this and help this dog!

Their groomer is moving out of state and today is the last time we will see her. I'm sad to see her go, she is a sweetheart. I bought her a really nice card and put a picture Molly & Maggie in there. I want to thank her for always taking such good care of them. I hate goodbyes!
Anyway, I also need to run to the supermarket for a few things. Then back home to do chores.

That is such a shame about the groomer leaving. It sounds like she had a good connection with Molly and Maggie. I hope you will find someone who will be just as good with them.

We will be using one of the other groomers in the same store. I already met her last month and she is very nice. She's also a Yorkie mom, she has three of her own!

We need to do better, Mother Nature. This is April. You know -- warm temps -- gentle breezes -- lots of flowers -- singing birds.
(But then, I guess it's not nice to second guess Mother Nature.)
Right now, we have 62 degrees here in the capital city with the hope of clearer skies later today.

[Holiday]

We're going to the Vera Bradley Outlet in Fort Wayne, Indiana, plus we will be doing other shopping. We will be out there for two days. We're very excited!!! It's a bus trip. Can't wait.

Oh cool! Is this their big outlet sale? I have 2 nieces that live in Ft. Wayne - my sisters/nieces usually go there every year. I haven't heard if anyone is going this year. I usually send money & they bring me stuff back! :grin: They have to wait in line 2 hours! Usually 1 gets in line while the others shop. Hope you have a GREAT trip! Buy lots! :smile:

I'm not sure if it typically comes this early. The women in my Hallmark gave me such a hard time when I asked them for a book last year, they did not want to hand one over to me. I became a member so I didn't have to deal with them anymore!

I think the rain might stay to the south of here ~ yay! I took a walk a bit ago and the pond is the highest I've seen it in years. Still a lot of ice cover on it, but the frogs are out and there are tiny fish swimming over from across the road where the big ponds are. It sure was noisy out here with the birds and frogs "singing" ~ beautiful! One of the things I really love about being in the woods is that kind of noise! On my walk I also saw that some of my daffodils, aliums and hyacinths are coming up. I'm keeping close tabs on the lavender. I bought three plants last year and I am hoping they will come back this year like they are supposed to do.

Lucky you! I step outside and watch cars speeding down the street! Ha ha!

I do try to look for nature even through the traffic. There are plenty of birds and squirrels around and I just focus on them!

Just give them a call, they always have these "hidden" programs that will save you money and usually give you a movie station or two for free.
I have been doing it for years.

I have been doing the same exact thing. I call them all the time and negotiate. My call is usually I am wanting to just cancel cable completely but they always come up with an amazing deal to keep you as a customer! I am serious about cancelling too, it's not some threat, lol! The deals are so good that I can't pass them up!

My granddaughter just walked in the door to show me a tissue that has printed pictures of Santa on it. She said, "I have this Santa tissue to blow my nose in"! She ran in here so proud of it and I can't blame her. It is Santa, you know! She said I can have one if I want. I hope it's one that she didn't already blow her nose in!

Well, now that she is here I need to go. I didn't get a chance to check up on all the post!
