That's good news about the snow! I am ok but feeling a little bit down today. It is mum's birthday and I can't help but miss her and feel homesick. Last year she was here in England visiting on her birthday. Anyway it's ok , I know I will see her in the summer.

How are you doing? How is Harlowe?

Merry Morning Christmas my dear friends!

The rain continues today. You should have seen how heavy it was yesterday, like multiple taps were turned on from the sky. My garden was actually filled with water after just minutes!

I guess we are stuck in again today, I better find something to entertain the kids with

It's my mum's birthday today so I am waiting anxiously to give her call. Due to the time difference she will still be asleep. I feel a bit homesick today but nevermind.

Good morning!
Heavy rain here this morning, I'm even hearing rumbles of thunder now. I really hope it lets up. The dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. Their groomer is moving out of state and today is the last time we will see her. I'm sad to see her go, she is a sweetheart. I bought her a really nice card and put a picture Molly & Maggie in there. I want to thank her for always taking such good care of them. I hate goodbyes!
Anyway, I also need to run to the supermarket for a few things. Then back home to do chores.

We need to do better, Mother Nature. This is April. You know -- warm temps -- gentle breezes -- lots of flowers -- singing birds.
(But then, I guess it's not nice to second guess Mother Nature.)
Right now, we have 62 degrees here in the capital city with the hope of clearer skies later today.

Oh cool! Is this their big outlet sale? I have 2 nieces that live in Ft. Wayne - my sisters/nieces usually go there every year. I haven't heard if anyone is going this year. I usually send money & they bring me stuff back! :grin: They have to wait in line 2 hours! Usually 1 gets in line while the others shop. Hope you have a GREAT trip! Buy lots! :smile:

Yes it is. We have tickets for when we go on Friday, so I'm not sure if we will have to wait in line or not, but I know if we would go back on Saturday, it does say we would have to.

Good morning MMC! What a beautiful sunshiny morning. I guess those rainy days make us appreciate these sunny days more!
Today is Gracie's 14 week birthday! Lol! Can't believe she's getting so big already! Buster was up many times overnight! Not sure what his deal was, but I saw every hour on the clock overnight at least once except the 5am hour! Bet he sleeps all morning! He was sleeping so sound when I left for work. Go figure!

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone is doing well today.

The weather has been very nice here lately. No rain but instead sunny with some clouds here and there. Beautiful! ^^

I have my role specific training coming up on Saturday so I've been spending quite a lot of time doing my 'homework' for it. ^^ Also got an appointment on 16th May for uniform and accreditation pick up. It's so far, I know, but I am already excited.

Inspiration for writing the story is still sky high so chapter 3 is already finished!

doing a typing job for a friend who is working a legal issue, 4 pages left to go.
Now we are going to head out to my nephews house in Kitchener. They are having a "open house" for their son. This was her message on FB....

"Total mamma fail today Colin had an open house in his class this afternoon that he brought home invites home for late last week. With my migraine this morning I totally forgot... I found out Colin cried and cried being that I didn't show up. Operation redemption in operation tonight.... gonna create an open house at home so all his family can come."

It's my turn again to be sick, I am feeling absolutely lousy. I already got the dishes, laundry, and random cleaning done so I can just rest. I just watched some Christmas episodes of Married..With Children, and now I need to figure out what to watch next.

Had some issues with my Alzheimer's-affected Mom yesterday. What a circus. Consequently, had nightmares all last night, and woke up feeling like I hadn't slept at all. In a bad mood. And with a headache. I made it to work, but I'm not really here. Bah. Humbug! :x (Yup, I need a nap.)

I am sorry to hear about your mum and you. But I am sure there are better days coming your way.

I think I'm going to try to take my bicycle for a spin after work. 1st time out the year. EEK! Air is still a little chilly, I'll have to bundle up! I'll probably only make it a mile & my legs will be like rubber. :lol: Have a great night everyone!

Can anyone get Kringle Radio? I wanted to listen to it yesterday to ease my lousy day, but when I tried to listen via TuneIn Radio, I got an error message. It's also not playing today, either on TuneIn OR in a browser.

Today was kinda crazy at the office. We're so busy with overlapping stuff just now.

Mr. has an awful cold that I'm trying not to catch, as I have a minor medical procedure scheduled for Monday that I'd rather not have to reschedule. I had just been congratulating myself for not having a cold all winter (big mistake).

Oh no, not the mercury glass sphere's again!!!!! Ooh, they have garden stakes now. Perfect for using as a pick to stick in a really big Christmas tree!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

The Fire Department fight is finally over! And it really was a fight last night. The county guys and the city guys were accusing each other of fabricating details and facts, etc. We had a packed house of Bellville citizens, and they had a lot of questions and comments. The council finally decided to stay with the city fire department.

I don't really agree with that decision, but it wasn't worth the hard feelings that my veto would surely cause, so I let it go. We'll see what happens.

At least it's behind me!
