Christmas Countdown - 2014

It is a bee-yootiful day out there---sunshine and up into the 60s. We have our windows open to let in the fresh air and blow out the cold germs. It's nice to hear birds again! We're going to drive to Friendly's for lunch and some ice cream shortly. (I have to eat hearty today, 'cause tomorrow all I get is clear liquids and Jell-O---prepping for a minor procedure on Monday. Nothing to worry about, it's just a test to establish a baseline. Goes with the age bracket.)

Glad you are enjoying the beautiful weather!!! Praying the procedure goes well.

They had their members only Easter Egg Hunt at the Arboretum today. As a member you still have to pay to participate and it starts before it opens to the public at 9 am. It was sold out so we were unable to take the kids but got some pictures of the Easter bunny and eggs. It was really a nice event they had out there. As a member you still get to go in before they open from 7 - 9 am which Wayne and I did to walk around and get some exercise.

Looks like fun!!!! If the kids there are like my niece's, they are probably just afraid of the easter bunny!!

Good morning!
I am relaxing and having a cup of coffee but I need to head out soon. I have to go food shopping and I want to get there early. Other than that it will be a typical day for me. I have some chores to and a couple of errands to run. The girls will all be working for a few hours and my husband will continue to work on the kitchen cabinets. This bunny dude doesn't seem to popular. He was here for photos but I didn't see the kids lined up! I think the kids were looking for Santa! :lol: (Okay, I am not hatin on the bunny, just being silly is all!) He is a nice looking bunny!

Look at all the Easter eggs around the peacock before the kids got them!

Pretty pictures! I'm getting excited for Easter now!

Hello Christmas friends.

We met parents for dinner tonight. Then we went to my wife's grandpas house and stayed. He hasn't woken up all day and hospice is saying it could be any time. I took his dog for a walk. He's a sweet dog! Bless his little heart, he doesn't understand.
