I don't have too much planned for today. My husband and the girls are all busy today so they will be in and out. I think I'm going to do some Easter shopping for the girls.

We finally got home late last night, and I was really looking forward to getting some sleep. But SOMEBODY kept calling me, giggling and asking if my refrigerator was running and if so, I should go catch it. Grrrrr!

The caller ID said "Shishpering Pines". Hmmmm.....

We went for our walk yesterday morning, came home and cooked out then I had a sleepy day the rest of the day. I just kept dosing off! I was very lazy but now it's church and work today! I have to have lots of energy! :???:

Thank you for the advice! I know he won't try it, but I'll keep it in mind for the next time I need it. He still didn't feel up to going to the office today, but he's doing better. It's sunny today and supposed to go up to 60F---I told him he should take a short walk later to get some fresh air. I've managed to steer clear of catching his cold so far. (I hope I haven't jinxed myself by saying so!)

Hope Mr. is feeling up to par now and you didn't get sick.

Good Morning!

Paul McCartney just announced a few USA tour dates with more announcements on the way. I am hoping he makes his way nearby! We just saw him last May in Austin and now I am spoiled because we got tickets right next to the stage! How could I ever go back to nose bleed seats again??? Ha ha! The first 2 times I saw him I had to depend on the large screen to see him but this last time I could see him without it!!! I am not sure I could afford those seats again! I will not buy from resale either! They really raise the prices on them! At cost you have to be sitting on the computer as soon as they go on sale because Paul will sell out within 30 minutes to an hour! We lucked out last time and got those great seats - there were a lot of fans not too happy because they were on the computer as soon as they went on sell and did not score any because he sold out so fast!

I think Sugar understands all this! You know how it is when you are getting tickets to see Luke! =)

We will see Ringo this summer and it would be nice to add Paul to that list! Let's hope we can!

Here I go again! I got to go and get ready for the day and didn't get a chance to catch up on here!

Yes, CAH, I do understand. We've seen him every time he's been in our area and we've been in the nosebleed section, but the tickets are so expensive and until we pay for the hotel, food, etc., it's insane. This year, we're going in June, a month early, for our anniversary, and will probably stay for the whole weekend, so we got nosebleed again, but DH got on right when they want on sale and tried to get best available, except he didn't want to get right by the stage because those were outrageous. We were already very high up. Oh well...maybe some day! Hope you're able to get them, if he comes near you, which I hope he does!!!!

It's going to be a quiet day for me. My husband and the girls are all going to be busy. I'm going to work on some chores around the house and do some shopping later. I already started a pot of sauce for dinner, I need to get started on frying some chicken cutlets soon. I'll be making spaghetti and chicken Parmesan for dinner. Hopefully someone will be here to eat with me!

Oh by the way, he's leaving for Texas again for 10 weeks of specialty schooling in the Air Force, he leaves this coming Tuesday morning....So, needless to say, I want to hang with him for a little while; he's my boy.....

Good morning all. I hope y'all have a great Thursday. Carl's blend really through me for a loop last night!

Well we had an earthquake last night that was a 4.1...and I slept through it! My daughter woke up and casually came and told us, "my bedroom door was moving." So apparently she woke up and just laid there watching the house shake.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high of 78 degree's. Then rain is going to move in overnight and we may even see snow flurries by tuesday. Not to much going on here today. Just need to run into Toys r us to get a few things for my niece's birthday next weekend and then I want to stop by harbor freight. Good morning MMC! It's an absolutely beautiful morning! Rain is supposed to move in this afternoon but I just don't want it too! Who do I need to talk too?? :lol: Our back yard needs a chance to dry out! Tired of wiping dogs paws already! Ha ha!
Tonight we are supposed to take our friend out to eat for her birthday which was last Sunday (group of 4 of us go out for our birthdays) but 1 of the girls is sick! She's feeling better today but not 100% & she would like us to pick a different night. If it were any of the other 3 of us we would say "go ahead w/o me" but this one always causes drama! Birthday girl can't go again until after May b/c she has 1 graduating, kids in track, & softball & another going to school in art so many art shows coming up soooo...drama, drama, drama. We are too old for this childish stuff! :lol:
Other than that - not much going on today. Just working & wishing I could be outside! Talked to my niece last night who is finishing up her schooling to become a NP. She started working 3 days a week the weeks she has 2 classes & 4 days a week the weeks she only has 1 class. She said "you working people, I don't know how you do it being inside all day! When I only had to study I could go outside to do it. This stinks! I have to do this until I retire?" (she was joking - sort of) Welcome to reality!!!!
On that note - have a great day everyone!!!

Happy Belated Birthday to your friend! Congrats to your niece on becoming a NP. That's awesome. I at one time thought maybe I would go back and do that, but I really like what I am doing now and think I am going to stick with bedside nursing. I don't want to be in an office all day. In our area, NP's work in office's pretty much all day. Good luck to her!

Colbert? Stephen Colbert? Really? No Really? How could they pass on Binger to replace Letterman? You should have seen the proposal I put in front of them!!!!! They are Crazy!!!!! Oh well. At least I can tell them I told you so when the ratings go down the drain!!!

Now to organize the letter writing campaign to save Lovemas!!!!!!!

You really don't think he's funny though? He's going to be a lot better than Dave Letterman in my opinion. Hopefully he'll keep Lovemas on.
