I will be careful! I am such a sucker for wildlife and just think they are all adorable, even the possums! Wild rats and mice too. I know, not too cool but if I see one in the wild I stare at them in amazement! :lol: The possum that we saw several years ago had a litter of babies. Mama disappeared or died and we did take the babies to a rescue organization but wore gloves handling them.

I sent him to you!!! If he doesn't stick around let me know and I will send you a couple of hundred more!!!!

Well it's really small flakes and it's melting as soon as it hits the ground but it is SNOWING out there!!!!!

Yes they can!! I had one chase me back into the house one night after I tried to shoo him away from our garbage cans!!!

This would have been me, stupid enough to say, "Does someone need a hug"? and I would be attacked by a possum! I should be smart like you and run when it chases me! :lol: Instead, I stand and look in amazement at all living creatures! Lol

Well, Merry Christmas to me! I am getting excited about all these animals showing up!!!!!

Good evening!
I'm going to turn in soon. I was up with Maggie a lot last night and I'm very tired. We met with the specialist earlier and I am glad we did. He was very thorough and really took his time with us. He doesn't believe she has COPD, due to the fact that she isn't responding to the medications and from reviewing all of her test results. He said she has a classic case of a collapsing trachea, which is more common in these small breeds. Her veterinarian suspected an issue with the trachea as well, so we weren't surprised. It will most likely get progressively worse. For now we will try and keep her comfortable with a higher dose of a cough suppressant. That is the only medicine she will be on as of right now. And we will be very careful about triggers like excitement, stress, heat, humidity or even frigid temperatures. Oh and I definitely can't walk her anymore. I'm hoping that I'll be able to manage it. Fingers crossed!

(((HMG))) Praying you are able to keep her comfortable with cough suppressant. At least you have a diagnosis & can go from there. I know she has the best care she could ever ask for, so it will be ok!!!

Thanks, Holiday. I am going to drive to La Crosse this weekend to help Mom around the house, Dad has been caring for her & trying to get things squared away there after being gone 3+ months in AZ. They have their hands full! And then of course spend Easter there <3

I know! I need to stop being like Elf and trying to hug every animal I see! Ha ha!

I will be careful! When he was on our porch we just stood inside watching him. I didn't try to approach him.

bowling party was fun, I bowl terrible!

First date with Doc, I was going to be Mr. Hotshot and show her how to bowl because she had never been....

Approached the lane, swing the ball back, and threw it into the wrong lane. Played it off that night like I was trying to be funny, but told her about a month later that I was really trying to show her to bowl.

You might bowl terrible, but you aren't alone.

I think all animals are amazing, too!

But after Harlowe getting sick, and worries that it may have been because of rats & mice our neighbors were attracting, I became a little extra careful. You just never know. Stay safe & enjoy the view!!

All of our stuff is moved in... but there is still so much work to do. I'll post pictures eventually. We love the new place. So does everyone else! It's a great neighbourhood and a perfect apartment. As I said, it is not quite where we want it to be. Hopefully everything will be done this week!

What's a snow shovel???? I wish I owned one! :lol:

Hardly anyone owns an ice scraper for their car around here either but they sell them! Wayne has one that he brought down moving from Maryland. We had to loan it to the neighbors and my parents because they didn't have one!

As far as the snow shovel, no one has those!

I am entered in another cake competition. This one is actually not until November, but I am signed up now because the first 50 entries get a gift bag and a $50 gift certificate for the store. (and the gift bags are amazing!)

Theme this year is anything Tim Burton.
I can do what I want, it can be about his movies, his art or him. I can do one tier or many tiers or a sculpted cake. I am glad I have so much time to think about it and work on it. There is so much content about his work.

It is right around the time of the gingerbread house competition, so I will make sure to get most of this done early (will be a dummy cake anyway so I can make it well ahead of time)

Sounds like a cool competition, I am glad you were able to sign up early and get the gift bag.
