I know! I need to stop being like Elf and trying to hug every animal I see! Ha ha!

I will be careful! When he was on our porch we just stood inside watching him. I didn't try to approach him.

First date with Doc, I was going to be Mr. Hotshot and show her how to bowl because she had never been....

Approached the lane, swing the ball back, and threw it into the wrong lane. Played it off that night like I was trying to be funny, but told her about a month later that I was really trying to show her to bowl.

You might bowl terrible, but you aren't alone.

LOL!!! Well at least you didn't let the ball go on your back swing and have it fly back and hit her!!! (Not that I've ever done that to somebody. )

What's a snow shovel???? I wish I owned one! :lol:

Hardly anyone owns an ice scraper for their car around here either but they sell them! Wayne has one that he brought down moving from Maryland. We had to loan it to the neighbors and my parents because they didn't have one!

As far as the snow shovel, no one has those!

LOL!!!! The stores made a fortune selling both of those here this winter!!!

I know!!
I think all animals are amazing, too!

But after Harlowe getting sick, and worries that it may have been because of rats & mice our neighbors were attracting, I became a little extra careful. You just never know. Stay safe & enjoy the view!!

I know what you mean and I have to remind myself of all that too!!!

I do the same dang thing with all the stray dogs around. I try to call them to me then think one might attack me someday! I need to be CAUTIOUS!!! My little Maris was a stray so I lucked out with one of them!

-BREAKING CIJ NEWS!!!!!

Well I thought CIJ would be the weekend of July 25th,26th, and 27th. It looks like I may be wrong though. Jim Shore just released his updated QVC Schedule and he lists a show at 6am July 19th then he's not back on until July 31st. So CIJ has to be the weekend of the 18th, 19th, and 20th or Jim Shore isn't going to be on during it. Which I find hard to believe.


So I'm going to call it and say mark your calendars for July 18th, 19th, and 20th!!!!!!

I was all excited thinking I would be home for CIJ on the 25, 26, 27. We will be in Lake George at that time that it is on. Rats, I seem to miss it every year.

It really has been a great 5 years and I'm honored to be able to call you one of my friends!!!

Last night, I was in the middle of reading the posts and watching the weather and the dish goes black. The rain stopped and it got earily quiet. All of the sudden, the tornado warning on my phone started going off, so we started getting shoes on and getting ready to go to the school. Three minutes later, the hardest rain I've seen in five years started and the town tornado sirens started blaring....

Talk about scared.

In the past, I would go out and watch the weather....now with Bambina, I got really nervous and uptight. All passed about 20 minutes later and we are good, but it was a little nerve-wrecking here. There was rotation about 8 miles east of town. As a general rule everyone in the community is aware of, the sirens sound when a tornado is in a 15 mile radius of our town.

All good. Just a lot of rain and high winds.

Good evening all my Christmas family!

Warmer weather has headed our way. I don't want it lol. I want the snow back! But we are supposed to get a light dusting on Wednesday. I will have to post some pictures if it does snow. I have some BIG NEWS! First I have to share it with my family, then here with my Christmas family! I had a friend over on the weekend. Wife was out of town so I had a Christmas movie marathon with a friend. We watched TLC Crazy Christmas lights, invasion of the Christmas lights and Home Alone 1. It was great! Well back to my show! have a good evening everyone!

Can't wait to hear your news!!!

I love those TLC Christmas light shoes, I wish they would put them on DVD. Sounds like it was a good marathon weekend.

My Mom is having some trouble with her hip, she injured it playing tennis & again when she was thrown from her bike. And I guess the pain is pretty bad, she is in physical therapy and using a walker right now. Could you please keep her in your prayers?
