Holidays always excited me as a kid, especially Halloween & Christmas. Who am I kidding? They still do!! Probably even more so

There is one hockey forum I visit and just read, I won't join it because they tend to be very mean to each other if they disagree.

I am with you on that! I am a member of a couple of travel forums, Amtrak and a Cruise forum. I only joined to get ideas and look at photos people post. I will NEVER post on them. You would not believe the arguing that goes on! It's ridiculous! You are going on vacation to have fun but it seems that most of them want to complain and argue. I keep thinking I hope I don't come in contact with these people on my next cruise or train trip but I have had nothing but positive experiences with the nicest people around. To be fair, there are a few people that seem nice on those forums but a lot seem to love drama.

Like I told you all before, my daughter said we all get along on here because we are so JOLLY! Ho ho ho!!! :thumbsup:

Good morning,

Old Man Winter made a visit last night, we woke up to an inch of snow on the ground. It looked beautiful on the ground this morning, and put me in a Christmassy mood. I am watching one of CAH's favorite Christmas specials now, "Rick Steve's European Christmas" I bought it back in the fall but never watched it. I am loving the music in it.

I head to work 75 minutes, but I already made my lunch & dinner so I just have some hearty relaxation now, it will be busy tonight with Easter shoppers, but I am off tomorrow again. I need to start getting the house ready for Sunday, we are hosting dinner, so floors need to be scrubbed.

I will probably pop in before I leave for work.

I'm a member on the Trip Advisor forums, and a Classic Camaro Restoration forum, but those both have very cordial-minded members. I used to spend a lot of time on a Star Trek board, but you wouldn't believe how political (then hateful) it became.

I come here to be happy and escape the real world for a little while, Christmas is one of the sheer joys in my life. I don't want to go and argue with morons because they don't agree with what I say or feel. I get that enough from friends and family, especially about my love of Christmas or my "strange" taste in music.

At least here we are all in the same mindset about Christmas, and I feel we honestly care deeply about each other. One of the many reasons I feel the need to stop by at least once per day to say hi.

It is always amazing when comments start off innocent and it turns out to start a total argument because someone didn't like it. Especially on politics, the rule to life I was once told. "Never talk religion or politics with your friends, if you want them to stay your friends." cheesy

Thank you! Just got word that Jay is moving to the step down unit today! They are super happy about that, though they really like the care he is receiving in ICU! Hopefully he will have excellent care in step down too! It's all good!

Well we set 2 new records today. The first time that it has ever snowed on April 15th and the coldest April 15th ever with a high of just 38 degree's. This is also the first time since 2001 that we have had snow in April and we have officially reached 3 tenths of inch now.
