First date with Doc, I was going to be Mr. Hotshot and show her how to bowl because she had never been....

Approached the lane, swing the ball back, and threw it into the wrong lane. Played it off that night like I was trying to be funny, but told her about a month later that I was really trying to show her to bowl.

You might bowl terrible, but you aren't alone.

Aww...that's cute, but I can't help but laugh too!

 

[Holiday]

Another update:

Jay will be staying in ICU after-all. When they were getting ready to move him he went into Afib. They say this is not uncommon, but he gets to stay in ICU now. I'm so glad he's there!!! Still praying...

I am so ready to get out of work today. I could really take a nap! I just ordered a wireless fence for Gracie. I asked the vet about it last night, she said the sooner the better. She will have a little more freedom in the backyard & part of the front yard now - as long as she will obey it! xx Her vet apt went very well. She is 19.3 lbs! Where did that cute little 7.5 lb puppy go?? She was a little touchy last night, but nearly as bad as she was after her 1st round of the lepro vaccine. After work I am going to my sisters to let my nieces Golden doodle pup out! Play time for Gracie!! THEN I need to get cleaning for Easter. Fun, fun - oh, and a stop at the grocery! I started making a snack mix on my lunch, but need to buy some bugles to add to it - then I'll pour the seasoned oil over it! I'm making it in a garbage bag, (big batch) then I'll freeze some of it so I can pull it out as needed! Love it! Mmmmm!

Last night, I was in the middle of reading the posts and watching the weather and the dish goes black. The rain stopped and it got earily quiet. All of the sudden, the tornado warning on my phone started going off, so we started getting shoes on and getting ready to go to the school. Three minutes later, the hardest rain I've seen in five years started and the town tornado sirens started blaring....

Talk about scared.

In the past, I would go out and watch the weather....now with Bambina, I got really nervous and uptight. All passed about 20 minutes later and we are good, but it was a little nerve-wrecking here. There was rotation about 8 miles east of town. As a general rule everyone in the community is aware of, the sirens sound when a tornado is in a 15 mile radius of our town.

All good. Just a lot of rain and high winds.

She is still in a lot of pain, but going to her chiropractic and physical therapy appointments. She has been having trouble sleeping at night, but tries to rest upright in the rocking chair. Her last adjustment seemed to help a little more, so I'm hoping that continues. Thank you for asking, CAH~

Merry Tuesday! Good morning! I have just skimmed over a few posts really quickly, I hope I have not missed any major news.

The children just woke me up with breakfast in bed. They are only 6 and 2 and they are not allowed to use the toaster or kettle so the result was a glass of milk and buttered slices of bread It melted my heart.

I am just popping in quickly before we head out for the day. We are going to Eureka , a children's museum about an hour away. It is a beautiful day, the birds are singing, new flowers have bloomed and not a cloud in sight.

On Sunday we will meet in front of our church at 5:45am to light the Easterfire.....we then walk into the church after a morning prayer, holding candles that were all light thru the Easter Fire........inside the service will be held........after the service the people will have breakfast together in church.

Today and tomorrow, our church is offering handcrafting afternoons for kids....Kandice has been going there for the last two years and will go again today....She loves it.....they bake things there, they handcraft things and sing songs, too. While she is there....I will go to the stores to find the Easter presents

The service sounds lovely.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
My youngest has off this week for Spring break so I decided to stay in bed a little bit later this morning. Bentley didn't wake me up and Maggie had a good night. I gave her a higher dose of the cough suppressant last night and I think it may have helped.
I don't have too much going on today. I wanted to run to the supermarket but we are expecting showers/storms all day, so I will probably put it off until tomorrow. I'll just be working on some chores around the house.
You were all very chatty last night, I will be back to catch up.

Thank you CS! My nephew texted this morning saying they took him off the vent at 3am, which is the 1st step of a 3 step process to get him out on time. I'm not sure what that means, other than maybe they have a time frame they want him totally breathing on his own & that's a 3 step process? Anyway - it's progress. He's still critical, but hopefully getting stronger every minute.

Good morning MMC!



Winter has returned to Ohio! :cold: Sun is shining now but that wind is bitter cold!!!! I'm feeling so far behind getting ready for Easter. Last night was pretty much a bust. Sometimes when I worry I get a lot of cleaning done. Last night was not one of them nights! Hopefully tonight I can get a handle on it!



Gracie has to go to the vet after work for the last of her shots. Poor girl! She will be sore again tonight.
