It's a mild morning here, but the winds are supposed to pick up, and rain comes in later in the day, with a high of 67 degrees.

I have some laundry and other things to do around the house here this morning, and then I will pack a bag & head to LaCrosse this afternoon.

What are your plans for the day?

I'm going to be super busy today. I have a lot of running around to do and some cooking & baking for tomorrow. We will be spending Easter Sunday with my parents tomorrow.

What a day at work! We had four proposals to get out. Three were due by 5 p.m., or they would not be accepted. So they brought in another proofreader for the day to help. About lunchtime I went out to the kitchen to get a spoon, and when I got back, she was on the floor with people helping her---she had had a seizure of some sort. So once the ambulance came and went, I took up the slack, and we managed to get the first three out on time, then I worked on the fourth. I got out of there about 6:30, and had nothing to eat all day except a dish of oatmeal in the morning and a cup of yogurt I bolted down while we waited for the ambulance. But Mr. took me out for a solid meal when I got home, so it's all good now. Happily, our offices are closed Monday for Patriots Day, so we have a three-day weekend.

I hope she is ok.
Glad you finally got the job done and some food into yourself.
Do you have the rest of the weekend off?

Good morning!
It is going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 64 degrees. I need to get moving, I have so much to do. My oldest has a doctor appointment and I need to go food shopping. The supermarket is going to be a mad house today, I'm not looking forward to it. I also need to bring Maggie in to the vet, she was fussing with her ear last night. I'm not sure if she has an ear infection starting, so I want to get her in there asap. This poor dog can't catch a break! I have lots of cooking and baking to do for tomorrow as well. I will pop in during the day when I can, I'm sure I will be having a few coffee breaks throughout the day!

Thank you for asking! Yes, Mom is slowly improving. Her doctor prescribed some pain medicine that she can actually handle this time, and thanks to it, sleeping much more comfortably at night. Her Chiropractor & PT also are happy to see some improvements this week. She hopes to be walking on her own by the end of next week!

I have 3 cats in the house this weekend as LittleCS brought Pocket home for the weekend. Abby a is not impressed and Penny is tearing around the house jumping and playing with anything she can find. (she sounds like a little horse when she runs around) Pocked hisses at them when they get to close. By the end of the weekend they will all be getting along again.

LittleCS and I are preparing food for the family potluck tonight. Shepherds pie and strawberry trifle. (in different dishes)

We have to leave by 1;30 as this is in St Thomas, 1 1/2 hours from here.

The sun is out so it will be a nice drive there. Looking forward to seeing the family again.

I've already been out running some errands and now I'm home for a quick break before heading out for more. It's crazy out there. You would think that tomorrow was a holiday or something. Oh wait.... Well I better get back to it. I need to get all of these errands done so I can get cooking. Then again, maybe I'll do my cooking before heading back out. Decisions, decisions.
