Good Afternoon, all! Got a late start today, and I've been rushing around ever since. I hope everyone had a great Easter. Our Church was lovely, and the service was very uplifting. Afterwards, Mom and I went to my sister's for dinner.....which was also lovely and uplifting! Such a good meal-lamb, ham, peas, corn, cheesy potatoes, etc. etc. We ate ourselves into a food coma, then napped and watched The Veggie Tales; Pirates that Don't Do Anything movie. At least, I think that was what it's called. It was very cute.
Well, have a great day, everyone. I'm just about done at work, and I'm going home to eat leftovers.

I'm glad you had a lovely Easter, MerryBells!

Sounds like your day was much like mine!
Kids and grandkids here yesterday for big ham and turkey dinner and Easter egg hunt.
SO much fun, but today is cleaning and laundry catch up!
Happy Spring everyone!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter! Happy Spring to you, too, momnan!

Good Easter Monday evening, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone having a great day!

I spent a busy day at home catching up, or I should type, trying to catch up on things. Still so much to do, but that is good as I like to be busy!

Dishes are waiting so I will talk to you tomorrow!

Merry dreams!!!

I just wanted to share a few things with y'all. A few weeks ago, I was at such a low in my life because of the pain and tiredness. I kept thinking that I would never get my energy back and I felt I would have to take meds for the pain forever. I felt sorry for myself and really almost lost it with a crying jag that I knew would not stop if it got started. I had to pick up my prescription of Arimidex yesterday and FINALLY read the info sheet of the side effects. You see, my oncologist had given me enough samples that I did not have to get the prescription yet. I am sure some of you know how extra, super, tiny the print is on the info sheet that comes with samples. I had hardly been able to read it, so I TOTALLY missed all the valuable info on the side effects. Yesterday, the info sheet that the pharmacist had printed out (in 12 point font) was large enough print that I could read. I found out that the pain and tiredness were included in the side effects. I am not going crazy!!! Now that there is an explanation, I feel so much better mentally. I joined a forum with others who are going through the same thing. I must admit that I am lucky in one respect: the other ladies have awful hot flashes. I have never had one, even during my menopause years; knock on wood!!! The side effects normally get progressively worse, but at least now I know what to expect. If I can keep the pain under control with meds, then I know I can get through this! You cannot believe what a burden has been lifted.

I'm glad you have an explanation and I'm praying that the meds help with the pain Seawaters. Sending hugs your way!

Sorry to hear that, HmG~
Hope the medicine licks in quickly for her <3
Please give Maggie a hug for me!

Mom is doing better, still in pain & having trouble getting around, but improving slowly. She has a chiropractic & physical therapy appointments today, so hope they help! Thanks for asking.

xx

Mmm!! I love chicken tortilla soup!
Hope your oldest's appointment goes well today. And hope your youngest can find some prom shoes!

Have a wonderful day!!

xx

Thank you so much!
I will keep your mom in my prayers, I hope she continues to improve.
My daughters doctor appointment went well. She had fluid in her ears but it has cleared up. And he still thinks we should hold off on taking her tonsils out. So we really don't have to follow up with him again. For now!
Thankfully my youngest found prom shoes today, she also picked up a little purse to match.
I hope you are having a wonderful day as well!!!
xx

.

Well, that was fun! I went out in my front yard to check on my plants wearing flip flops and stood right in an ant pile. My feet were covered in ants. I bet the neighbors were wondering why I was dancing in my front yard.

Yep, that's about how I looked too!

I hope you enjoy your evening Meceka!

It's okay to laugh! I started laughing at myself after the pain went away. It must have been some site for the neighbors! I really could have used some music to go with it as I was bee boppin around! Ha ha!

Xmas365, I am so happy you will be getting your grandmother's Santa collection! I know what you mean about the sadness of seeing her house being sold. When my grandmother sold the house that I grew up visiting I felt a little sad and continually had dreams about it until I was an adult.

Oh no, that sounds horrible. Praying you are all right!

Oh, I am fine now! Thanks!

You had a great day with lots of yummy food!!!

I love Veggie Tales but never seen that one. I am glad you enjoyed it!

Happy Monday everyone!

We are getting rain! The western half of the state, where I posted the pics from Saturday, needs this. Our farmers and ranchers are desperate, so this is a blessing.

I finished mowing the yard just in time. Highs in the high 70s to mid-80s all week.

Hope you all have a great week!

Thinking of you ... Praying for strength and patience. Sometimes it's a little easier just knowing why something is affecting you the way it is, and being able to talk to others who know how you feel. Looking forward to the day that you won't need that med anymore.
