Absolutely will pray for your mom. I'm sorry she's been having a rough go.
It's tough to see someone you care for in pain.
I'm happy to hear that work is going well for you.
It sure makes getting up for a job a lot easier when you like where you spend a good chunk of your day!
Hugs for you and Har.

Thank you, momnan~
That means a lot!

((Hugs)) back to you!

Oh no!!! I'm sorry to hear about mom!!! Praying extra hard for her, Buddy.

Glad all is going well at work!!! I'm sure you are picking things up quickly and doing a great job!!!

Give Harlowe a hug for me and hope you can unwind some buddy!!!!!

xx

Thanks, buddy <3

Har is sending hugs to you!!

LOL!! I'm sure he'll come up with plans to get you to help him or his grandaughter a few million times before you leave, haha!!

Craziness!

xx

Yep!!! He has to knock out that list before I leave in case I don't come back you know!!!!

xx

Sounds like heaven!!!! I think I am going to sit in the yard with Miss Grace & Bustaroo on my lunch!!! I really will not want to come back!!! We are planning to plant the onion, radish, lettuce, potatoes, sugar peas in the garden tonight! Enjoy your day & your picnic!!!

It was! Hope you were able to sit out with your doggies! I actually got some son today, which I am happy about! The weather is supposed to get crappy again here, so DH thinks we'll plant it next week, but he got finished building the boards and putting the fence up today.

I just wanted to share a few things with y'all. A few weeks ago, I was at such a low in my life because of the pain and tiredness. I kept thinking that I would never get my energy back and I felt I would have to take meds for the pain forever. I felt sorry for myself and really almost lost it with a crying jag that I knew would not stop if it got started. I had to pick up my prescription of Arimidex yesterday and FINALLY read the info sheet of the side effects. You see, my oncologist had given me enough samples that I did not have to get the prescription yet. I am sure some of you know how extra, super, tiny the print is on the info sheet that comes with samples. I had hardly been able to read it, so I TOTALLY missed all the valuable info on the side effects. Yesterday, the info sheet that the pharmacist had printed out (in 12 point font) was large enough print that I could read. I found out that the pain and tiredness were included in the side effects. I am not going crazy!!! Now that there is an explanation, I feel so much better mentally. I joined a forum with others who are going through the same thing. I must admit that I am lucky in one respect: the other ladies have awful hot flashes. I have never had one, even during my menopause years; knock on wood!!! The side effects normally get progressively worse, but at least now I know what to expect. If I can keep the pain under control with meds, then I know I can get through this! You cannot believe what a burden has been lifted.

So happy you figured this out, Seawaters. I will continue prayers for you and hope you find some relief. God Bless.

Mom is doing better, still in pain & having trouble getting around, but improving slowly. She has a chiropractic & physical therapy appointments today, so hope they help! Thanks for asking.

Hope the appointments helped her. Continued prayers.

How nice! I was sitting outside this morning with a cup of coffee and all the stray kitties came and joined me. I need to put some type of gate up on my porch so I can bring the dogs outside with me. They just sit and look out the door at me! =)

Enjoy your picnic!!!

Sounds like a great day too! Ella comes out with me a good bit, as she did today. She was acting already today like it was too hot - I told her, it's only going to get hotter!

.

Well, that was fun! I went out in my front yard to check on my plants wearing flip flops and stood right in an ant pile. My feet were covered in ants. I bet the neighbors were wondering why I was dancing in my front yard.

Yep, that's about how I looked too!

Eww...I would have done the same thing!

Good Afternoon, all! Got a late start today, and I've been rushing around ever since. I hope everyone had a great Easter. Our Church was lovely, and the service was very uplifting. Afterwards, Mom and I went to my sister's for dinner.....which was also lovely and uplifting! Such a good meal-lamb, ham, peas, corn, cheesy potatoes, etc. etc. We ate ourselves into a food coma, then napped and watched The Veggie Tales; Pirates that Don't Do Anything movie. At least, I think that was what it's called. It was very cute.
Well, have a great day, everyone. I'm just about done at work, and I'm going home to eat leftovers.

Good evening, MerryBells. Glad to hear you had a great day yesterday!

Garbage Pail Kids! Wow that's taken me back! I hope you get to visit your grandparents house before they move out. Your grandma must know how much you love Christmas and that you will cherish her collection. Post a pic of the collection when you can!

It was my tradition for a number of years to give her a Santa Claus for Christmas, we had always shared a love of Christmas, especially the hard time we had taking down the decorations.

Oh they had to do that too. I don't know how I could forget that. I had to adjust seats, handlebars, and training wheels for them.

That was very nice of you!

So sorry to hear that you've been suffering through some dark days.
I'm glad you can take comfort in talking to others and sharing your experiences.
You are in my thoughts and I wish you wonderful spring days to uplift your spirit!
It is a time of renewal for all of us- God bless!

So beautifully said, momnan.

I am tired, not feeling good and my feet hurt. Did I say I am tired? I would go to bed but dancing with the stars is on. .
I was around to many Easter lilies on the weekend, I am allergic to them. I tired real hard to avoid them, but they were everywhere!!!

Ok, enough feeling sorry for myself, back to the show!

Feel better Star. I hope you have a relaxing evening, enjoy your show!

Thanks, Buddy!!!! Bill is a funny (and annoying sometimes) guy even if he is convinced that I am going to die in a couple of weeks!!!!

Tomorrow he will probably be planning my funeral and trying to sell me his burial plots in Cincy that he isn't going to use now!!!

xx

Is this the neighbor that knocks on your walls and comes over to read your newspaper?
