Hello MMC!! How ive missed this place! havent been around for what seems like forever! Had a horrible few months, wont go into detail as its still raw but Im in serious need of festive cheer!!!

Hope this finds everyone well, dont think ive posted on this countdown thread at all this year so going to have a wonder around the forum and catch up! could take a while!

Sorry you had a horrible last few months. You sound like me, when things get hectic and upsetting I run as fast as I can to Christmas! It really helps cheer me up!

Good morning and Happy Saturday!
It's going to be mostly sunny today with a high of 61 degrees. I decided to ditch the treadmill yesterday and go for a walk around the lake that's near my house. I think I'm going to head there again this afternoon for a nice long walk. I enjoyed that much better than staring at the wall for an hour while on the treadmill.
Typical day for me, I have a couple of errands and chores to do around the house. I'm going to head out to the supermarket as soon as I finish my cup of coffee, hopefully I'll beat the crowds.
I will pop back in here later.

I love our lake too! We go out there as much as we can even the Arboretum is located on the lake. Living in a very busy city this is the place to escape it all.

Good evening, everyone.

It's been a very exhausting week. I think I' be doing a little better if the NHL Playoffs were no so entertaining to watch! It's hard to fall asleep with all this action, especially when your favourite team (LA Kings) play their games three hours later into the evening.

Well, my dad is still here and we're watching the Wild at Blackhawks game. Tomorrow, we have a trivia fundraiser for my team and our trip to play at worlds in Italy. Hopefully we can raise a lot of money for that, but we'll see!

Nice weather at the beach and lots of preparatory work was completed.

Will likely go back twice more before our first renters arrive in mid June.

For now, a pleasant Saturday is expected, a nice backdrop to my younger niece's graduation ceremony today!

We are at 56 degrees here right now.

It's very cool that Made and Snowflake got a chance to meet! We are all so far apart, those opportunities seldom present themselves. Enjoy!

I hope I get a chance to go to Jim's shop to work on the Camaro today. He has some good ideas about replacing the "idiot lights" in the dash with performance gauges. I know it's been taking forever to get the car done, but there's a lot more to the job than I knew. Plus, I have a pretty busy schedule. I hope I can get over there today.

Other than that, it's a nice, cool morning. A bit overcast, but it's supposed to clear up this afternoon and start warming up through the week.

Good morning all!

Had to take William to the doctors this morning. Standard eye infection that needs drops. Just made a coffee and folding laundry. Ash still isn't feeling well, same thing through the last pregnancy. She just has morning sickness, all the time. Sheesh. I was watching some of the 2013 Santa Claus Parade I recorded off tv. Awesome to watch because it even has Christmas commercials in it too! Everyone around me here (but my Windsor friend) DOESN'T want to hear anything about Christmas/Winter. Its quite sad. I have a Christmas countdown going on my whiteboard at work! Well back to laundry! Hope you all have a fantastic day!

afternoon already! Time flys when you are having fun. Monica and I went to a few thrifts stores and the antique mall, found nothing today, but did have a good time looking.
Now to go back to the store because one part of the new BBQ is defective!
