Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day! Happy Pines Day!



I didn't get a chance to check in here at all yesterday so I have lots of catching up to do. Hopefully I will get a chance today! It is sooo gorgeous outside! It's going to be hard to be inside at work all day!



So last night I take Gracie to the lake & we went for a walk. We get back to the trailer, she stays outside & I was inside for just a few minutes. I walk out & there she is:













I have a window box planter that has nothing in it except potting soil & it had filled with water from all the rain. Well...it's pretty much empty now! :lol: Ornery Pup!!!! Bet she had a BLAST!

Work was very busy today, I am exhausted. It was also Game 4 for the Bruins, and they pulled it out 1-0 in overtime. Pheeewww!



We went and saw the World Series Trophy, very cool, unfortunately they just herded us in, take a few pictures and ship us out. I really wanted to look at it more closely but oh well.

Here is a picture of us with the trophy, I think the flash and the fluorescent lighting made it blurry. I am so disappointed it didn't come out clearer. (LC is hiding behind us, because he didn't want his picture taken)

Here is JP with the Red Sox Wallymobile. (This came out crystal clear)

My son and I were also trying to get the stray cats inside but they were putting up a fight and ran off! They love us but they NEVER want to come inside. I think my son and I would end up dying in a storm trying to save all the animals. lol

That is such a frightful thing to go through especially with such little notice! I hope all is well and you don't have any more sudden warnings anytime soon.

Once the sun goes behind the trees I have a kitchen to clean. When that is done I am working on a project I started last night and if time permits, I will be finishing the mystery I am currently reading.

Hey everyone. Sorry I am so behind, yet again, but today still was a very busy day here. I only had about three hours of sleep and have a lot to do in the morning after work, so I need to catch a nap. I am off this weekend, so I am determined to get caught up around here! Hey Sugar, how are you? Hope work wasn't too hectic last night. enjoy your weekend off ! You deserve some down time!

Good Evening, Everyone!!!!! Mom is home and settled in and her car is now at my aunt's house. I looked at it some this afternoon but I'm going to wait until Saturday to really tear into it. Plus then I might be able to trick my cousins husband into coming and helping me. I just need a day to relax tomorrow. Well not really relax. I need to finish unpacking from visiting snowflake last weekend and get some laundry done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

I hope you enjoy an easy day today and get the chance to unpack. Fingers crossed the car is an easy fix and your cousin's husband can lend a hand.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I spent the day at doctors's appointments in the morning and early afternoon. I had one shot right in the bed of my fingernail and FIVE shots in my upper back shoulder blade. Today is the first day of feeling even halfway human after all those shots! After all that, there is not all that much relief! Go figure! But my birthday dinner was wonderful! Work is progressing on the house. For my son's "wages," we were going to pay his monthly rent, but we decided to give him our trailer instead. He was deliriously happy since he can now divide his time between his two seasonal jobs and not have to worry about a place to live. We also have bought his groceries and will supply him with groceries just before he leaves. TTYL

It is so good to hear that you are feeling better. That is good news about the house progress. The trailer is very thoughtful, it will really make things easier for him!

We are expecting more rain today as well!
We will be heading to my parents house on Sunday for brunch, to celebrate Mother's Day. My brothers will also be there, I'm looking forward to it!
