Well, hello there! ;]

***

Good afternoon everyone! And happy Monday too! :] I've just came back from my last exam and I can now say that my 2nd year at uni are officially finished. Time flies. I'm getting old faster than I'd like to. ^^ Anyway, 4 months long holiday is ahead. :]
I slept very little last night and I don't think I will be able to stay awake until evening so what about a nap right now? :>

How adorable!! Good Morning everyone! Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Cannot believe the countdown...we are getting closer and closer!

Good morning!
It is going to be partly sunny today with temperatures in the lower 70's, maybe a shower later this evening. It looks like we have a lot more rain heading our way again this week.
Typical Monday for me, I have daily chores to do and a couple of quick errands to run this morning. Not too much else going on. I also plan on taking a ride to Lord & Taylor later this afternoon. I have a gift card I want to use plus two $20 coupons that expire today, I do not want those to go to waste. I'm sure I'll be able to find something that I need.
Just started a pot of Minestrone soup for dinner, it smells good in here already. I'm going to make homemade pizza to go with it.
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
Have a Happy Monday!!!

Good morning! Another Monday closer to vacation time! We are really going to need that time away this year.

Weird weather week ahead. Mid-80s today, but only up to 55F tomorrow. It was (finally) a warm weekend the past couple days. I had trouble sleeping, even with fans running---just not used to the springtime temps yet, they were so long in coming.

Have a good week at work, at school, wherever your days take you this week.

You have peaked my excitement on two accounts there!! LOL! I grew up in a house that was devouted to Dallas ......and J.R (thanks to mum) LOL! Wow Southfork.....I need to visit Texas!!

We live very close to Southfork Ranch and pass by there often. We pass by the street on the way to my brother's house, on our way to the vet and located across the street from a shop we use to go to. I guess we kind of take it for granted then sometimes stop to realize it's a big tourist attraction! People come from all over the world to see it! I guess the same for Dealey Plaza where President Kennedy was killed. We are always on that street. Then when we stop by there it is interesting to hear languages from all over the world from the tourist that are walking the streets.

Also just a few months ago my son-in-law did a moving job in a high rise apartment in Dallas where they were filming the show Dallas! Security was so tight that he had to pass security clearance every time he entered the elevator.

You do need to visit Texas, just be sure not to during the summer! The heat it awful!

I am so sorry to hear, I'll keep you all in thoughts and prayers. I hope your father continues to feel better (((((Hugs)))

He is feeling a whole lot better! He even went with us Saturday to some air museums! Thanks for praying for him!

My son's appointment is first thing tomorrow morning, I'll let you all know how it goes.

Keeping him in prayer!

Good Morning, New Weekers.

Speaking of new, guess what? We have new figures for you!
Surprised?
No?
Well, maybe you'd better take another look:
Days to the Season: 185
Days to Christmas Day: 227

And with a close examination of our handy post one Milestone chart, we can readily see that we are now UNDER HALF A WEEK off from the half-way point to Christmas Season 2014!
(Are we surprised yet?)

Still real nice weather in this sector of MMC and May has been kind to us so far.
(I guess Mother Nature has forgiven me for what I said of her earlier.)
Here's hoping this niceness continues, and we have started today at an optimistic 62 degrees here.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

I hope Mother Nature will forgive me in advance for the complaints I have regarding summer! I will try very hard to be nice! :D

I hope you have a Magical, Magnificent Monday!!!!

I cannot wait until Wayne and I have some vacation time together. We feel like we just don't get to spend enough time together! At least we cherish every second that we do get to spend time with each other. =)

I know you are looking forward to your time off!

I love pizza!!! I miss it so much but have the wheat/gluten and dairy allergy. All pizza has that unless I spend a fortune at the store for a gluten/wheat and dairy free pizza and it doesn't taste as good! Enjoy the pizza for me! =)

Enjoy your day!

Good morning, SnowflakeMom! Welcome to the peanut gallery...I mean Welcome to the Countdown thread! cheesy

My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren all came by yesterday and gave me a beautiful necklace for Mother's Day. It's 2 hearts connected with the #2 blended into it. It's hard to explain, I will have to post a picture of it and show you. My daughter told me it represented her and I! Then my 4 year old granddaughter said, "A friendship necklace"! Yes, I guess something like that! :D

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hope all you wonderful moms had a great Mother's Day! We took mom (and a widowed neighbor of hers) out to lunch in Savannah yesterday, then we spent most of the afternoon wandering around Sam's Club...LOL. It's turned into a tradition of ours, however strange. Then we went to Nancy's parents' for supper. It was a nice day!

The pool has cleared up, and it finally looks more like swimming water than fishing water. It's supposed to be in the 90's all week, so I think I'll be testing that theory.

It'll still be a busy week. It's the last full week of school, so there are awards ceremonies Tuesday. There is a fund-raising banquet and auction for Elizabeth's dance academy Thursday night. And there's something to do Friday night, but that one escapes me. I'm sure I'll be getting my marching orders soon.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Another thing about Southfork Ranch, Festive Spirit, it's not even in Dallas, it's in Parker, Texas just right outside of Dallas. That kind of land doesn't exist in the city of Dallas! Even nearby Southfork Ranch are shopping centers but there is a little more land out there compared to Dallas.

Sam's Club sounds more appealing than a tradition I use to have with my best friend and her family. When my kids were little and hers were too we use to go out on a Saturday once a month for lunch and some other activity, park, mall, Six Flags, etc. but for some reason ALWAYS ended up at Super Walmart late in the evening right before we went home! It became a running joke and then after a few years of doing that we decided we had to go by there whether we needed to or not just to keep that tradition up. We just acted like fools in there cutting up and having fun! How lame, huh? Ha ha!!!

I am glad you had a nice time on Mother's Day!!!

My 4 year old granddaughter wished her mom Happy Mother's Day ALL DAY LONG yesterday! My daughter said she repeated that wish to her mom about every 20-30 minutes from the time she got up until she went to bed. She would give her mom a big hug every time she said it. She is just so adorable and lovable! It really made my daughter's day to hear that all day long. When they came by yesterday my granddaughter kept telling me the same thing. They were over for about a half hour and I think I heard it at least 5-6 times. My grandsons told me a couple of times as well! I just love them!!! Of course! :D

I was uncomfortable last night too, I probably should have put the A/C on. I'm trying to hold off though, I see our temperatures will be dropping this week as well.
I hope you have a great day!

I miss "real" pizza too! I won't be eating the homemade pizza, it's for my family. But I do keep gluten free pizza in the freezer so I'll defrost a slice for myself tonight. There is a local Italian restaurant here that makes gluten free pizza, I buy myself one every once in a while and freeze it. It tastes alright but not nearly as good as the real thing!

That's great that the pool cleared up, my husband is still working on ours!
Wishing you a great week ahead!!!

Have you tried any of the frozen ones? I saw that Amy's has one but they are so expensive that I hate to pay the price and they are no good.

They do have gluten free pizza dough so I might try to make my own sometime. Also dairy free cheese and I do like some brands of that. It's still not the same. I want some Papa John's Pizza!!! That's my favorite and I miss it!!!

When we sailed on Carnival Cruise Lines they had gluten free pizza and it's really delicious! I wish I could board the ship more often for the pizza! =)
