My 4 year old granddaughter wished her mom Happy Mother's Day ALL DAY LONG yesterday! My daughter said she repeated that wish to her mom about every 20-30 minutes from the time she got up until she went to bed. She would give her mom a big hug every time she said it. She is just so adorable and lovable! It really made my daughter's day to hear that all day long. When they came by yesterday my granddaughter kept telling me the same thing. They were over for about a half hour and I think I heard it at least 5-6 times. My grandsons told me a couple of times as well! I just love them!!! Of course! :D

I just heard that Aretha Franklin will be here in September and wanting to try and take my mom to see her. She is a HUGE fan of Aretha. I keep telling her she needs to go see her sometime but not sure she will take it upon herself to buy tickets. My mom's birthday is in June so if all goes as planned I want to buy the tickets and give them to her for her birthday! I hope I can get a pair of tickets. Maybe I will get Wayne to win some just like he did for Paul McCartney! :lol:

We had a lovely lunch & visit with Mom yesterday.

Adrian & Harlowe had a nice surprise for me, too. Adrian bought me beautiful paw print necklace with Harlowe's birthstone in it, and she brought it out to me Adrian had placed it around her neck- it was so sweet & thoughtful! I was very touched.

Good afternoon, MMC friends! How are you all doing? All is going pretty well here. I'm a little tired today, but that's okay. I'll drink some coffee tonight and life will go on!

What is everyone's plans for tonight? DH and I work tonight, so my sister will be coming to watch the kids. Tonight is my early night, which I'm supposed to go in at 10, but we'll see if they need be at 10 or at 11. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they won't need be until 11, that way I can get some more sleep.

Well, I am off to read the rest of the boards and spend some time with my kiddos. I hope you all have a good evening. Thinking of you all, your families, and your furbabies. God Bless and keep smiling!

Monday the 19th is the last day of class, then finals the rest of the week. Finals can be skipped if your grades are high enough, and I think they'll both be able to skip all their finals.

I'm giving Jacob a week or so to get used to being out of school, then he's getting a job!

I was I could have went to your kids' school! That would have been awesome to skip my finals. That is a nice incentive. I never felt like the kids who really worked hard and got good grades were respected enough. Kuddos to them!
